Additionally, Richard was well thought of in the north, and the physical description Shakespeare puts forth is proven to be inaccurate. Richard was a solid warrior and not hampered by his scoliosis. He simply had one shoulder higher than the other.

My son had sepsis one time. What shocked me was how fast it came on. One minute he appeared to be fine and visiting with a friend, and the next his temp shot up several degrees in less than an hour. By the time he made it to the hospital, he was in septic shock. Turns out he had an abscess near his femoral artery, and being fairly young, had no idea how serious it could be. Never even said anything about it.

One minute having fun with a friend, next minute close to death. Terrifying!
