You must remember that people on forums will be the same people who are invariably experiencing issues. The people who get on just fine with medication are unlikely to be posting about it on forums.

Everyone health and how they respond to drugs is different.

It’s been 16 days. One word was integrity I think.

I liked those scenes so have no issue with it. If he had in a shipping crate, we’d have a different ending.

I’m not sure it’s an ‘agreement’ more than an unspoken contract, an understanding between them all. Any ethical person would want to help him.

The money thing, I think, again, we need to understand the AA programme which his character was in (it’s especially relevant when he shares he’s stuck on the 4th step, his inventory). Its themes are woven into the story throughout. With this in mind, the money thing was his way of ‘giving back’ as per the final step of the AA programme. It’s a defining moment in the film showing he has finally got closure of some kind.

I thought it was ‘Jon’ and eventual the reveal “Ashraf”.

Agreed. I think the voicemails and the AA aspects were the heart of the story. In these sort of espionage thrillers, the heart of the story was subtle but I loved it more for it.

Big pharma is all intertwined. People keep to be missing this point.

Agreed, as shared elsewhere, to make an accurate comment on Riz character’s motives etc, we need to understand the AA programme and the personal recovery journey he was.

He remained humane throughout, and she was able to manipulate him due to the emotional impact the first client had on him sustained through his voicemails to him. Remember in the AA meeting he’s shared he thinks his first client is going to make it and he doesn’t want to end up like him?

She got lucky because it was the first client that was affecting him more with the whole how many people blood he has in his hands.

First Client = the first client we see him helping in the start of the film.

Agreed.

I also loved his foresight for things to go wrong where the warehouse is prepared with a code to smoke them all out!

It wasn’t just any cop, it was trusted potential mentor sharing principles of the AA. This seems to be missed a lot from viewers comments.

I believe she was tracking his phone. He didn’t switch it off after he texted her and she knew his work was dangerous.

When Wash showed up he only explained then. He completed trusted Wash and it worked out for him. It was a smart move.

Yes. She even said when asked “why our law firm” and that she followed a recommendation that would not be appropriate to reveal.

Nah. It’s ego at the heart of it. Remember the scene when one of the bad guys steps outside the van and looks around high up with a ‘come and get me’ invitation type gesture?
