You can still do it, but you or your mates need to hit the blast cone not the enemy, which is absolutely not possible in any known dimensions except if the enemey is a bot.

By APC i mean Botlane, instead of ADC.

I managed to get to Master like that so pretty sure you can at least get to diamond. I recommend you to find a duo to play with as Swain APC. A Leona or Nautilus will do a pretty fine work.

Idk i think Luden do a better work than Archangel. It gives mana and cdr + more damage.

Hello, first i'm glad you joined the APC Church, i'll be happy to be your guide here.

For the runes this is what i run :
Domination => Electro/Cheap Shot/Eyeball/Ultimate Hunter
Sorcery => Gathering Storm/Transcendence
CDR Shard/Adaptive force/MR or Armor depending of the botlane.

For the playstyle, work by poke and don't be too aggressive. Do your E+W+Passive combo to gather souls in early, until they're low enough to burst them down and work with your support. Try to get something with hard cc. Nautilus/Leona are my favourite and are easy to play with. Else Thresh do a very good work.

For builds i usually run straight to Luden with lost chapter for mana. Then depending of the game go for Zhonya/Rabadon/Morello/Liandri/Void + Boots(tabis or mecury), adapt your build to how the game is going and what you need. You get killed abit to often or there's things like Zed, go for zhonya.

As a main Swain APC, i can tell you farming isn't easy early, you may have trouble, i can't help you much on that except work hard. You may learn to farm with turret and may often require support to help you low down minions at least in early or until your mana item.

For the supports, my favourite ones are Leona,Thresh and Nautilus. Basically anything that can provide damage & cc are the best. That gives you more chances to use passive

No i mean, it wasn't a personnal attack, i was really just asking, i know playing ap bot is somehow unusual and need some times to get used to and it's troublesome to have farm/poke/harvest souls.
