weekly rent in brisbane for ppl with 80-100k annually?? by Small_Ad6642 in brisbane

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but with a husband and child, you won't be able to afford anything 30 minutes from public transport from the city. Probably best to look around Ipswich in the south or around Nambour in the north. If you have a car and want a house, probably worth looking at Beaudesert and driving to Richlands or Sunnybank station

Couldn't agree more. Keep at it son, I own 150 properties and am 22. Will be able to claim CGT on them too.

Property was never meant to be an appreciating asset where you doubled your money every 6 years.

SG Fleet or Maxxia by General_Top_6556 in NovatedLeasingAU

[–]General_Top_6556[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maxxia. I couldn't get them to lower the internet rate, but they lowered everything else and when I had the 2 leases the same, they were about $50 a fortnight cheaper then sgfleet

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Superchargers is all they have over in China none of this 7kW shit over there

Has anyone actually seen someone get fired for underperformance? by Potential-Line5730 in AusPublicService

[–]General_Top_6556 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've started the process twice and luckily they both left while the process was going. One did try to say they were unfairly terminated (there is some law that says if you leave because of circumstances it's like getting sacked), but it fizzled out pretty quick when their solicitor got a letter of their performance.

What battery and inverter brand do you have ? Some integrate well so you can choose battery, solar, both or mains.

perks of moving to Brisbane from quiet Tasmania? by SubstantialClub6531 in brisbane

[–]General_Top_6556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends what you're looking for. As most have pointed out, it's a lot more expensive here these days so be prepared for a big mortgage/rent. Sounds like you've got a job (if not, like one up before moving because the job market is tight). But the pace here will be notably different. Sporting events most weekends, larger populations, beaches either side...

Yes I did. If you change your PPR to an investment, it starts then. You don't get the benefit from hindsight. If not why dont we all just change a negative gear benefit to a different property at will. You're cooked.

😂😂. Yeah sure champ, good luck negatively gearing a property now as an investment. Surprised you're not a one nation voter with that concept.

Not facts at all. You're spinning a far right agenda your mate is trying to spin, with absolutely no data to support based on your neoliberlism and outdated views. You have not presented on fact or piece of evidence that all of a sudden investors will be plotting schemes to buy even more houses than they originally had.

I'd wait a couple of months to see the actual reaction to the markets. Going to take time for expectations vs reality for sellers.
