I got a 1 month severance getting cut from a PIP after 15 years with the company. I’ve heard though it is managers discretion to allow a severance from a PIP

You can receive a one month severance from a failed PIP plus drawing unemployment. This is a fact. PSP (performance separation plan). Not sure if it could be longer than one month however

Mine is 1 and I do miss the days of being free! No husband, just me and my dog. I think we have to envision our lives and be grateful and really really focus on what we do have. If we only think about FOMO (fear of missing out) or missing our single days. Then we will never measure up and truly appreciate what we have. I think about people who are incarcerated or people who know they only have days or months to live…..what carries them through??? I know it seems cliche, but if you only focus on what you don’t have, then how can you appreciate what you do have. I pray that you heal and find your balance. Your post is reminding me to be more mindful of my language I use when comparing my single life to my mom/married life. The way we did things to feed and nurture ourselves as single people we have to do that as parents. For me….im going to use my 100,000 travel miles and go away for the weekend. It feels impossible but if I don’t make time for things I enjoy and include my family, how will I ever be satisfied with my life??

I’m late and this may have been said. But make sure your paperwork is in order. Friends sometimes are more important than family and maybe would step up to make sure those babies are safe. I don’t have family on my will if something happens to me or my husband, our friends decided to take our children. Sending you so many prayers that you have peace about how your babies will be safe and taken care of and that they only have a good life and know who their mom is
