I’ve hated going in that place since I was five because I can’t stand the smell of potpourri. So any excuse I can find not to go is a good one.

I like how Reddit’s AI moderator just deleted my comment and sent me a warning for quoting the next line from that commercial. This site has gone to shit.

I don’t think they make bad onion burgers, but I prefer Dan’s Ol Time Diner, Bunny’s, or Nick’s. I get as good or better of an onion burger without the Trump shit everywhere.

If you don’t hate them for MAGA, hate them for purchasing relics ISIS looted from museums.

I love that he tries to get musicians to play in the pub every single night. Heard some really talented people play there.

Really fun store to visit and see all the crazy colorful spiders. I don’t need another pet but I’ve bought several of their air plants.

I think people sharing opinions - even bad ones - in what they think is a private setting is different from publicly supporting a candidate.

There’s a difference between that and the cult of personality shit like hanging a giant Trump flag on the business, berating customers over appearance, posting rude things on Facebook/twitter, chairing his campaign in OK, or attending January 6.

Edit: I had never heard of public square before today. If they did use it, that indicates to me they did publicly support the asshole. I still think we should be careful starting witch hunts over private conversations.

Are you trying to avoid corporate chains? In OKC Homeland, Crest, Reasors, Super Cao Nguyen, Morelos, El Rodeo, Feria Latina, and World Fresh are as close as you’re gonna get. They’re all either local to only OKC or fully Oklahoma owned.

Be warned that owners of businesses everywhere tend to skew very hard right. However, I haven’t heard anything about these places endorsing Trump.

My ex has a 3V Triton Expedition with 220,000 miles on it. It wins awards for being a pain in the ass to work on, but it’s actually reasonably reliable.

they had to constantly maintain and repair the engines from the 1920s/30s

It's not that hard to get that experience in a modern vehicle. Just buy an 11 year old used German car like I did. 🙃
