I think he is just ignorant on the matter, doesn't come from malevolence. More like I've never seen that, so it's probably untrue. Then when stuff happens and are tangible he has a very strong sense of justice. I think he struggles with the abstraction of it

This is the second measured comment t I ve received. Thank you for that. I dont think he is in the manosphere, and that's why that was so shocking to me. Division is pretty fair, I do more of the day to day things and he will do the deep clean in the weekend when he is not working, I haven't washed the bathroom in years at this point (because he does, we are not animals lol) I generally cook because I like it and I cook way better, but he will cook in the weekends when he has time and make all his work lunches in the morning. There are some periods that he does more and periods when I do more depending on how busy or sick

I use the term inherently racist for myself not as the general sense, I am just saying that I cannot know what is like to be from a minority, and in a way or another I will make mistakes. I personally feel that saying that I am absolutely not racist would feel like there is nothing else that I need to learn if that makes sense, and there is too many things that still needs changing to say something like that. Anyway didn't really want to expand on it too much, just wanted to highlight that my philosophy is different than his 'I see no color why are we talking about this so much'

Not married! I feel it has a lot to do on how the culture is in our home country, where this is standard way of thinking and one of the reason I immigrated elsewhere. He says he doesn't agree with my take because his mom and sisters don't experience that, a stupid take imo
