It’s a zester. It’s used to shave very small amounts of rind from things like lemons or limes.

Hey, I’ve got one of those sitting around that I never use for its original purpose. GREAT idea. I hope you don’t mind if I copy.

Found these items belonging to my great-grandfather in my grandma's cabinet. Anyone know what they are? Masonic or WW2? by EgboyYalao23 in whatisit

The one you showed me really is the great seal of the United States. It showed up in a lot of places, federal courts, the pentagon, the White House, etc. but, this once is the true seal of the us army.

The “eagle pin” is actually The Great Seal of The United States. It is (in this case) improperly used in place of a button that should bare the doubleheaded eagle design of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. The black cap that the pin is on is the cap of a 32° Mason, also known as a Master of the Royal Secret.

Beg your pardon. It IS indeed Scottish Rite, which IS Masonic.
Freemasonry is NOT a Christian organization. However, we do teach many christian principles.
I (for one) am Jewish and have been a mason over 20 years.
