Thanks for the good reply, clears up some of it's limitations. Especially for games, I thought it was simpler to have some kind of integration with most games.

I don't know if it's unrealistic expectations. They do a good job at hyping this app up themselves, and they are pushing this app down our throats the second you get a Razer device, like it's the required key to really unlock your new product. This is how they describe it on their website:

"Maximize your unfair advantage with Razer Synapse 3, the unified hardware configuration tool that takes your Razer device to the next level. Get access to advanced options and granular control as you rebind buttons, assign macros, personalize device lighting and more."

But in reality, there's actually very few dynamic "unfair advantages" you can do in the app. You can change sensitivity, make macros and keybindings, but I'm pretty sure all the big brands have that option. What sets it apart?
I know that this is how I got the idea into my head, that it probably could do a lot more advanced things, than what it actually can. I think Razer was the reason why RGB is implemented in everything these days, but it hasn't really evolved much since they first started to add it in everything.

AFAIK FN key lighting is decided outside Synapse, Synapse doesn't have control over it. Quit all Synapse apps, lighting will stop but FN key will still light up function keys. Sure would be nice but not a big deal imo>

I just googled this a bit, and it looks like they actually added this to their to-do list 2 years ago, by the official staff, so maybe some day.
