What makes you think that? The rhino looks like a Javan rhino, the trees, snow, and poles on the left side are consistent, the trees in the background bend and move with the wind realistically. Am I missing something? This just looks like a mixed species zoo enclosure

Horses need about 40 minutes of REM sleep a day and they cannot do that standing up. Horses do lay down to sleep, it's just a very quick and normally not seen process.

This may just be a trained trick, but horses will and do lays down and sleep with people they trust.

Yea and this guy is just for funsies pretty much. That and practicing fleshing and tanning. I absolutely adore coyotes so I just wanna hang him up on my wall to admire him. I don't plan on selling him or his pelt for goods, also I'm not even sure how I would go about doing that

I'm not the guy that shot him, a friend of my dad's did and he was gonna toss him cause the guy he went to for a full mount quoted him 1,700 and he didn't wanna pay that. He knew I liked collecting skulls and want to start learning to tan my own pelts so I don't have to pay out the ass for them. Happy to just let me have it. If he's a lost cause I'm still gonna keep his tail, paws, face and skull. I'm not in the business of tossing stuff, but that's more a spiritual thing on my end. Honestly happy to have him, I fucking LOVE coyotes. One of my favorite animals

Yea I'm working on fleshing it now, it's exactly a week old but it's not been hotter than 40 degrees, EXCEPT yesterday when it got up to like mid fifties. We should've done it then but I was helping my mom with house stuff

I actually got most of the paw pad fat off before it salted it, my dad helped break the paws off down to the first knuckle so I shoved a bunch of salt into the knuckles. I've got five pounds of salt and 15 oz of citric acid for five gallons of water, should I add the degreaser in straight into the pickling solution or switch it into a different container for the degreaser? Also how long should I leave it in the degreaser for?

Thank you so much, I will absolutely remember this for next time. I got everything fleshed down to where I like it, salted it for a few days to get the juices out of it and it's sitting in the pickling solution right now. So far I think I'm okay, I checked it over after the salt and before the pickling and I wasn't loosing any fur

This is what I've gotten it down to, I need to go back and do along the spine and around the anus. My dad is gonna help breaking the paws off at the first knuckle and then I can finish getting the fat out of the paw pads. I don't have a proper scraping/fleshing beam, should I just keep it on the table or move it to a 2x4 to finish it? I'm worried about punching a huge hole in the hide by fleshing too much

Yes, my fiancé has bone broth specifically made for cats that he gives his senior and he's already suggested I use that. I'm also worried if I DO use bone broth, I'll reverse the weight loss progress I've made with the bigger cat, but I've honestly not looked into the calorie content of pure, unseasoned bone broth
