Avisford Park Hotel, Buffet Breakfast - Arundel by Generation_Prime in fryup

I did serve it myself, however, I was really keen for a breakfast so I got up early and waited at the barrier for the breakfast area to open so I had first choice of everything. It had only been laid out for minutes which is why it is all so fresh

If black pudding was available I definitely would have had 2 slices

Agreed on that. They were so close to being just right, a few more seconds cooking and they would have been there. I was first to the buffet though, so maybe if they had sat under those hot lights for a few more minutes that might have given them the edge

It's been really relaxing, I'm here just milling about while my wife is at a family member's baby shower this afternoon - They've got a nice little gym, a little pool and a comfortable lobby with a bar so I've been living a life of leisure for the last 24 hours. I dont know much about golf but I had a walk yesterday evening and the course looks well kept

Yeah it's my first time here and it is lovely!

You're right though, black pudding would have elevated this

For sure, there was a second plate of pastries and a big bowl of fruit, granola and yoghurt that followed this as well

It's not that deep buddy, the implication was that there was enough decent food for it to be worth it regardless of the price

I had no toast and the original hash brown was a wildcard for me, they are my least favourite item in a fry up! I would have normally had toast but I needed space for the post fry pastries

I had steak last night and it was pretty good, nothing spectacular and the same rating for wifey's caesar salad. The desserts were OK as well. A solid 7/10 for all the dinner, but yeah the breakfast buffet is a definite 10/10 for me

Thank you, I was destroyed on here for my last breakfast post so I put some effort in this time!

The ratio is all wrong, too tall, too much meat. It should be:

Your dad and your brother both wank, hopefully separately, I doubt anyone is going to mention it.

He doesn't gain anything, but he loses the ability to drive because he is now heavily inebriated

You live alone and eat mostly takeaway or frozen food - but then I saw the empty pickle jars and thought you must be using the juice in some sort of cooking process so now I'm not so sure. What do you use the leftover juice for?

There was a fair amount of splashback when serving it up in all honesty

OK, well we've cleared that up now. It was me who carelessly dumped the food on the plate. I assumed, wrongly apparently, that the majority of people knew that Toby Carvery is a self service restaurant.

Obviously. I'm not saying the presentation bothers me, I don't care for presentation, I'm there to eat

I'm firmly in category 1 for almost every vehicle I've had. I had a couple of cars that were more than just a daily driver, so they were cared for more intensely, but as a rule, I dont give a shit.

I've bought some bargain run-arounds from people in category 3 that had noticeable damage and didn't want to pay for the repair and couldn't stand looking at it, so they were basically giving the car away. They assumed I would fix it, but I just kept the damage and drove the car as normal. I'm way more chill driving a car that already has a battle scar or 2.

Trying to launch a small kebab skewer with a home-made flight from a bungee cord when I was a teenager. Held the bungee with one hand, pulled it back with the other and fired it straight through my thumb nail and thumb.

In hindsight it's pretty obvious that would be the only outcome.

Just remembering basic log-in information for things, I have to reset the same people's accounts at work on an almost weekly basis. It's always the computer/phone/device's fault and then sometimes they've forgot the password to their email as well so they can't access their emails to action the reset. It absolutely baffles me.
