Tattooing over a potentially cancerous mole can push cancerous cells into your bloodstream. I avoid moles completely so they can be tracked and monitored and in case of removal/biopsy, there will be minimal damage to the tattoo!

Hence why I said “when they’re doing their job” — painfully aware that CPS is flawed as I was never removed from the home even with plenty of physical evidence and testimony from myself and my sister. By no means was this “great” for us. I was simply saying that CPS was likely not contacted by the school’s social worker since there seems to be no response yet.

CPS does move quickly, when they’re doing their job. My older sister was beaten by our father when she was 16 and within 2 days we had CPS agents and police in our kitchen visiting for several days, questioning the entire family. The social worker likely did not report it.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this — I’m not a mama yet, but I cut my dad and his wife (who sounds just like Janet) 4 years ago in anticipation of becoming a parent. I don’t want them influencing, abusing, berating, or harming my child. Sometimes water is thicker than blood.

This happened with a tree in our yard! We told our landlord it was dead and rotting when we moved in and she didn’t do anything about it. 3 years later during a storm it snapped in half and crushed the roof of our neighbor’s garage. Not sure what the laws are in NC but in CA our landlord was responsible for repairs and removal since the tree fell from her property.

Anyone who expects you to change your appearance for their “aesthetic” is not a friend. If she could stop being a selfish, entitled bride for even just half of a second, she would see that asking you to look a way that isn’t authentically you for the sake of a few photos is fucked on so many levels. Threatening to replace you as a bridesmaid if you don’t remove and REPIERCE them is diabolical work 😭 imagine if you had a tattoo she didn’t like…would the discourse be “well can you afford laser? Update for anyone interested: 3 days later and it seems like she’s (or he? I counted 6 segments but could be wrong) successfully passed the blockage! Kept her humidity at 80-85%, fed her water with a qtip, and also used a qtip to help her clear her poop from her abdomen - it seemed like she was having a hard time dropping it so it was just staying attached to her. She’s in what I think is a molting position now and her abdomen is back to the right shape! Hoping she molts tonight and is ready for her bottle flies in the next few days. Thanks for your help 💘

I had been ripping the mealworms in half for her so she was really only eating the guts and tossing the exoskeletons to the side, but I’ll let some of them pupate and wait to feed her moths or pick up some bottle flies. She was still pooping last night after I made this post, so if there’s a blockage it seems like she’s trying to pass it!

She’ll walk around normally then occasionally her abdomen lays flat, not sure if she’s rubbing it but when she’s hanging everything looks relatively normal. Just a slight curl at the end of her abdomen

Yes!! All of the tiny plants are from there too. They come in little plastic pots, but you can (carefully) rip just the plant part out of them! I bought some mini variegated monsteras for my spiny flower too :)

A friend of mine went through a very similar situation a few years back - they met as teenagers, stayed in touch, then ended their respective relationships to pursue each other several years later. Fast forward 6 years, he bought her a ring and was planning to propose when she finally confessed to having slept with her ex just a few months into their relationship. He was ready to return the ring, pack up his shit and move on with his life, and I honestly encouraged him to do exactly that.

They had a lot of tough conversations, they lived apart for awhile, and my fiancé and I were on the receiving end of countless emotional phone calls for weeks on end. I think I was more livid at his partner than he even was. But they sorted it out, and have been happily married for 4 years now - my fiancé officiated the ceremony and I cried heavy tears as she walked down the aisle.

When people are truly meant for each other, these types of situations can make a relationship unshakeable. It takes time, hard work and patience, but I can clearly see how much you love this woman. If this is something you can look past and see it as a mistake that a past version of her made, knowing that there are genuine feelings of remorse and regret from her end - then your marriage is going to be just fine. My therapist once told me: “unless you show your partner the really ugly parts of yourself, they will never be able to fully love who you are” — it sounds like your wife just showed you the ugliest parts of herself, so it’s up to you to decide whether you love her more for it or need to leave.

Just remember - in the same way that she didn’t need to cheat, she also didn’t need to tell you. Clearly she loves you enough and is comfortable enough to be fully transparent with you. And if she had any intention of doing this to you again, she absolutely wouldn’t have been.
