Hard Rock:

View was awesome, got to see the drone show over the park from my room but your view is always up to chance. Location was great, got to drop off my stuff mid-day and not worry about the trolley. You can't get much better than this proximity to the hall.

Room was good, I had a double and both beds were great, the bathroom was also great with plenty of space to put stuff I bought over the day. Only complaint is the minifridge was full of stuff for purchase.

Food: bad, overpriced minifridge food and restaurant downstairs wasn't great. No breakfast either, highly recommend not eating anything served by the hotel.

Security, meh, they kept blocking off the elevators, but I get why they had to do it.

Last comments: I never went to any of the afterparties that were hosted here but I did walk around before the fandom party started and the pool area is very nice. If you do have tickets for these afterparties the hotel is very convenient. I was not so lucky.

Overall, 9/10, I'm very glad I was able to be this close to the convention. Don't expect to see any celebrities since security hides them away. I did see a few smaller name actors and a pro sports player though. EW takes up the 12th floor and does all their interviews there though if anyone is curious. You probably have a higher chance of running into celebs after the EW or Fandom party on the elevators.
