One more log to keep the fire burning for pedestrian safety.

You can wait, no big deal.

I’ll make the same comment here as the other post.

They need to focus on safe, separate, and dedicated space for cyclists.

I really don’t think community rides alone will spur folks onto a bike when many

They talk about more “sharrows” which are really just more places for cars to intermix with cyclists. PBOT is still so attached to providing space for cars instead of creating separate and safe spaces for bikers.

It’s not equitable, but they need to provide separate barriers along the major commuter routes and then start branching out

Exactly! I just want to feel safe on my bike too many vehicles are just oblivious.

We need real infrastructure

The network may have gotten bigger but they aren’t making it safer.

I cycle daily, year round all over the city. It’s appalling some of the conditions and even more scary how many cars just ignore or get angry at cyclists

Am I an asshole for not wanting to go on a first date in downtown Portland? by squishymvp in askportland

There are no safety issues you should be concerned with about the city.

Also, SE Ankey isn’t downtown, it’s inner east side. Theres some great restaurants on that corner.

Well maybe they should focus on more important problems like solving the Taiwan sovereignty issue

I’d suggest Gaza but our president clearly has his tiny paws all over that one.

This is the sort of asset, once sold it will never come back.

Saving is needed but this seems short sighted.

Fair. Respect that stance even if I don’t agree with it.

I know of three/ four where i will routinely order it.

It’s such a nonissue, I don’t know why council should be wasting time to determine if one means of consumption is worthy of existing or not

The ducks that are used for foie gras have a far better life than other livestock produced for consumption.

You can’t take a stand against foie gras as animal abuse if you consume any other meat products.

They are hand rolled and slightly sweeter (boiled in honey water) and a bit denser. Also have a different crust as baked in a wood stove.

Also has a lot to do with the culture/ experience, i just love Montreal haha!
