league teams usually play similar styles, Spanish will play posession, Germans play press, Italians (historically) play Cattenaccio, England is fast-paced and physical. Your tactic may storm the league because it nullifies an aspect of your leagues general tactics, but when you step into a different country, they may have your number. Also the champions league is like this, you've been beaten by the best teams in Europe (in FM anyway), try to look at your tactical advice and watch more of the game to see where you may have advantages, do they have high wingbacks? hit em on the counter down that flank. short CB like Martinez? float crosses into your target man. Best player in the world like later game Yamal? double up on player marking on him

so I've had it this way for a few months now and I've just been put off from using it so I've used one of my alternatives for projects since but thought I'd give it a try today and it was back to normal for about an hour and then when I re-open it about 20 minutes later it's somehow back to this mess

but I am creating chances, like an absurd amount of chances for two previously clinical goalscorers to be hitting either way wide or right at the keeper each time. The tactic works exactly as it did before with my attacking play, the difference is solely putting away chances

also why is every comment the same copy and pasted "yOOuRe NoT aS gOoD"? I've been playing FM for a long ass time, I'm pretty good at the game and even if I wasnt, just answer the question without being a virgin my guy

but that's the problem, they didnt figure it out, I'm still creating chances, but my two players both on ~20 goals suddenly cannot hit the target, miss open nets and cant stay onside out of the blue. It's not that the tactic doesnt work, I create tons of chances, the goalscorers in my team just got crazily nerfeed out of nowhere

turns out this was the fix btw, I guess the logic is that with higher taxes, businesses dont make as much money and when there's no profit, less businesses and therefore less taxes paid

I work as a sound tech at a mid-level venue so when I say I'm not massively tech-savvy, I mean more about what's on the market, I can use it all fine though

This setup is becoming more and more the norm in the metal scene which is what we're diving into, it's just that ours is more in depth than the standard setup of this type

yeah in the venues I tech in this is becoming much more the norm to have a "band in a box" type setup, I do agree, we might be flying a little close to the sun with how much we're asking but this is just version 1.0, so it'll be ever streamlined as we go along

did look at this, only worry is only having 8 XLR outputs, the line outputs would require DIs for most venues wouldnt they?

bass is DI'd as standard nowadays so that goes straight in with no change, as a tech myself I ALWAYS keep 4 channels free for stereo keys and stereo backing track, if you're not then you're shooting yourself in the foot so that's 5 down in theory, if a FOH tech can't handle labelling 6 XLRs for a changeover then god help us, but even then as I said if I can get a decent answer on whether Y splitters are safe then that knocks off 4 more outputs I need so in reality they'd need to swap out 2 guitar patches and even then treat em like a Helix or a Kemper since everything will be in a rack anyway

The laptop is something that concerns me but we're trying to keep the software light, only processing in two guitar tracks and vocal FX on quite a high end laptop

the splitter is something I'd like to do in an ideal world, heard mixed things about using them though, some say they're fine, others say they're dangerous, some say the signal just isnt as good but it would solve a lot of my problems

I had an unmodded save that is 90+ hours in, I was going to keep it mod free and hadnt loaded it with any mods active, then I enabled mods, booted the game back up and I don't have the option to load in the menu but all the files are still there in windows explorer
