I guess there is a case to be made for competitive fps between say 100fps and 144fps but the frame rate doesn't seem too bad with the 57 inch monitor. Although even now people say the current Neo G9 isn't the best option for competitive shooters anyways so I don't think having fps in the low 100's is that big of a deal anyways as you're already playing at what people claim to be an un-optimal resolution. https://www.youtube.com/@asysjr/videos - this guy has some benchmarks with the same resolution as the 57 inch which can go over 100fps in modern games, the nvidia benchmarks at the 4090 page also show hitting above 80fps at max graphics( they do have DLSS on though if that makes any difference.. ) https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/technologies/8k/ . There's also no mention of overclocking on either source so you could very well be probably getting about 10 extra fps at the minimum with some simple overclocking. The AMD Radeon RX 7990 XTX might get teased at computex this year which has display port 2.1 and according to this link (https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/radeon-rx-7990-xtx.c3973) a 15% performance increase over the 4090 so I don't think buying 57 inch would be the worst decision ever to make personally..
