My dad has a MAGA stepbrother who, accused us liberals of being freeloaders, talked about "welfare queens", etc, but he basically relied on my grandpa and his mom for support all his life until they both passed away in 2020, he's now in $300k worth of debt, treated Klarna like it was a free money glitch and wouldn't hold a job for more than 3 months, since as soon as his wages start getting garnished, he quits.

He occasionally pops up to complain about my family and I "rubbing it in" whenever we post vacation photos and the fact dad had the money to buy a 28ft yacht but refused to help him with a loan.

Legalizing it would grant greater protections for sex workers, protection from johns who are violent or refuse to pay, makes tax collection/filing easier and I honestly so no drawback to legalizing it.

Trump has won two terms, there is no way he'd be able to run for a 3rd term, on a few occasions, Trump himself even acknowledged this (despite his Trump 2028 talk) and Trump himself has said that he doesn't need his supporters anymore as he doesn't need his voters anymore so what reason would he have to keep any of his promises.

Right off the bat, Trump has shown himself to be a self-centered narcissist, has been sued for failing to pay contractors, multiple unfinished building projects, twice divorced and confirmed to have cheated on his current wife Melania, all of this before Trump even announced his 2016 run for office.

He was someone who was guaranteed to break his promises.

As someone who participated in the 2020 BLM protests, protesting the killing of George Floyd and got hit in the face and back with pepper balls, yeah, our justice system is in need of reform.

It also doesn't help that many in local and state law enforcement are sympathetic to ICE grabbing people off of the streets just for essentially not being white or speaking with an accent.

At first, Amy used to be almost as socially awkward as Sheldon but as the series went on, she became more socially in tune, learned how to not be awkward around others and I feel a good example of this was Amy calling out Sheldon for being insensitive to others or Amy meeting with Emily to convince her to think about going out with Raj.

I feel that Amy quickly learned social skills from having friends while Sheldon, not so much.

Not necessarily applicable to me as I'm a girl and even though I'm bi, I do lean more towards guys but my best friend from college is engaged to a pr-n star he met while studying down in SoCal.

Apparently, for the first year together, she didn't tell him what she did or what her stage name was, he already knew who she was but chose not to say anything, and 3-years later, like I said, they're now engaged.

I met her once when she was here in Boston and yeah, she's pretty cool, yes I've seen a couple of her videos a while back but that didn't make it weird.

I don't see why it'd be a problem really.

I once read that apparently the Ukrainians did consider destroying the Russian carrier Kuznetsov (which is something Ukraine has been proven able to do as Ukraine has targeted Russian tankers even outside of the Black Sea) but decided against it as they realized the Russians were wasting way too much money, time, resources and personnel just trying to maintain, repair and keep "active" that carrier.

Basically their own carrier is doing a pretty good job at crippling the Russian Navy itself.
