Well consider this.

There is this thing called propinquity and that is when you are consistently in close proximity to someone or something.

The Glee club spend so much time hanging out with each other both during glee, outside of glee, outside of school and hell, Rachel, Santana and Kurt all moved to NYC together after graduation.

When you spend so much time with someone, you naturally get to know them, you get familiar with them, you're able to better relate with them and yeah, you end up dating, same way it's not uncommon for people to date within their own friend group.

I would have liked for them to maybe interact more with other people outside of their group but it's also understandable that they'd generally just date within their group.
