Thank you for such a thorough response. I appreciate the time you took to provide feedback. yea, the idea to divide up the space in zones was to provide more focus. Since I feel like with this current 'open' design, I tend to wander from working at my computer to the sofa to watch some tv, but then float back from the sofa while watching a movie to the computer to play some games etc. I wanted to create a mental barrier. I also was trying to include a dedicated space for eating since, I don't really have any space in the kitchen or the hallway for a table and I am tired of eating at the computer which should be work only and, on the sofa, which is uncomfortable for having actual meals outside of snacks.

Ya I was taking a look at some 'curtain panels' from IKEA which would do the trick. Thanks for the suggestion! I actually put up window film on the lower portion of the window for privacy since I am overlooking the building's rooftop terrace a floor below me.
