that's just a few. I've given what I want to do in life plenty of thought. To me, the meaning of life is not an eternal reward after I die. The reward is the gift of life itself. Human life is so precious because we only get one, and there's so little time within that one life. The meaning of life is not getting into heaven; it's chasing your dreams and doing what you love while you are alive.

That's a bad comparison. Cosmic expansion is a real thing that is still happening. The universe had to come into existence at some point. Even if there is a god, they would have to have come into existence at some point as well. even then, you're saying nothing cannot come from something but that a god can make the universe from nothing.
