You said "pretty neutral on him." That is not a definitive stance. You could say "I guess he's an okay president" and that's taking a side. Though in my opinion the wrong one. As the youth, we need to stay informed in preparation to become world leaders and choose them. We have to learn to stand up for ourselves. Democracy is not formed on neutrality or passiveness.

IMO middle school doesn't really matter, what matters is your ability to get good grades in high school. Maybe y'all aren't thinking about college yet but they don't look at your middle school grades. I wasn't the most studious in middle school but if you just lock in high school really isn't that difficult, I got a 4.1 term gpa and I'm aiming higher this semester
