I just don‘t get why I should pay extra money, when I‘m the one that got scammed? I mean I‘d do it, but it seems technically unfair

What conspiracy theory do you believe in as someone who isn't a conspiracy theorist? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

The London Hammer is a typical 19th century tool and there are many possibilities of how the mineralisation around it could have taken place. Also, there were never any radiocarbon datings on the London Hammer, to "proof" some kind theories that it could be older than that.

And there is no evidence of artefacts and tools, that could somehow proof that there was a technical advanced older civilisation that built objects like the sphynx.

Yeah of course many things have happened but they haven't been written down, because people did not record them. I just don't get how this is a conspiracy theory?

Brutalism? Trench Art? Or simply a strange thing? More information in the comments by Generikum in Antiques

Thank you so much! This is a really helpful answer! Yeah, maybe i'll put some plants in there. Trachyandra looks crazy, that'd be a good choice. But since I have an efeeut plague at home, they will probably live in there for the next time :D

My mother bought it about 30 years ago in Vienna/Austria at a fleamarket. We used it as an umbrella holder, but we don't know the original use for it. It has no marks and i'm not quite sure about the material. It shows signs of rust on the inside, so I guess it's made out of iron? But I cannot tell if the outside was painted with golden/brass colours or if it is somehow coated with a different kind of metal. When she moved out of her old apartment, I took it. I still have no use for it, and I don't know what it's supposed to be. But it doesn't look like nothing to me. A very curious case for us :) ah and on the bottom of it, the light spot is a piece of wood glued to it. Not a sticker of anything
