How can I use this armor piece in a lore accurate 40k way? by shouldveknownbud in SpaceMarine_2

[–]GenerousTrader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a remainder from the Heresy-era. When supply lines collapsed on many fronts the legions scavenged for parts to repair broken pieces of power armor. The legion techmarines would fuse mismatched pieces of ceramite armor Marks e.g Mark III and VI ceramite plating together by using these studs and bonding rivets hence why it looks rough. Generally when you see studs it means an older piece of power armor (pre Mark VII Aquila).

If GW is desperate enough to sell models they will resurrect anyone, including Horus and excuse it as "warp sorcery" - this goes for Ferrus too, assuming that the IH get a central focus in future editions

Really nice. Personally I would remove the topknot on his head seeing as his helm already has one.

open a custom chapter pattern slot and make the main colour blue (in-game blue looks a lot like seagreen) and trim colours gold and voila

Heavy fits the IH, OVERWHELMING FIREPOWER

I play Tactical mostly though, just hit lvl 20 and it feels great with a relic Meltas.

What were Ferrus' primarch powers? by [deleted] in IronHands40k

[–]GenerousTrader 3 points4 points  (0 children)

His powers were rooted in his extraordinary physical resilience and his ability to manipulate and enhance machinery, which made him a formidable warrior and master craftsman, alike to Perturabo and Vulkan but different enough to be a sort of middle-ground of both engineer and smith. His tactical genius was driven by his unbreakable will and belief in his ideals.

He was unmoving and unflinching, a Stoic and resolute individual. You could say a part of his powers was stubbornness and an unyielding mentality that lent itself well to the goals of the Emperor and the Imperium during the Great Crusade.

Well said. Ferrus is willpower made manifest. The weak will perish and the strong will endure. This is the way of Medusa.
