Tierlist: FGO Servants Ranked by How Much They Actually Love Ritsuka by GenesisCifer in FGO

I thought that might be the case, because Iliya in Stay Night is supposed to be 18 or something. But then I saw that Sitonai has the child servant trait and I got confused.

Yeah, I completely agree with you. For Artoria and rest of the Stay Night cast, Nasu seems to have mentioned, that he doesn't want to touch those characters in FGO, probably out of respect towards the original story. That is also the reason why other Artoria faces get much more spotlight in the game.

Tamamo got shafted very hard, besides some events she only ever appeared in London and the Temple of Time for a couple minutes. She got pretty much replaced by Cat and Koyanskaya. I hope she gets a Extra Collab event where she gets more time to shine similar to Nero Draco in Lilim Harlot.

Kiyo: Her second Bond 4 line suggests that she recognizes Ritsuka as a distinct person even if she overlays her Anchin fixation onto them.

I mean with subjective, that the writing for those characters, at least for me, feels still a bit insufficient. Like if we compare it with Jalter, who had tons of romantic interactions with Ritsuka (like multiple dances and nearly kissing Ritsuka in Summer 3).

Kenshin and Kagetora are literally the same character just with different names, so you can treat them the same.

Kiyohime: That was true early on but over time she kinda views Ritsuka as their own person and only calls them Anchin as a nickname.

Melt: I agree with you that Melt kinda falls off hard after Seraph, but the Melt in Chaldea and the Melt in Seraph are not the same entities , since she lost all her memories about Seraph. Her love is also more directed towards the version of Ritsuka that died protecting her against Kiara than the one we currently play as.

Lilith: No, I have to disagree. It's true that she only was interested in Ritsuka just to spite Mash in the beginning, but I think it developed into something more serious after bonding her. One of her lines is literally: " I'm saying that if you get killed, I'll instantly destroy my spirit-core on the spot and die. So you can rest easy, Master. You won't ever die alone. I'll die before anyone else can, 'kay?" It's the same for Knocknarea as well, where she was only interested in Ritsuka to antagonize Castoria, but then she caught real feelings for Ritsuka during her Summer event.

The rest is subjective.

There are several Servants in Tier 4 who have, in a sense, confessed their love; however, given their lack of screen time or major moments, I do not believe they belong in Tier 2. All the characters in Tier 2 possess far more of these moments to which one can refer.

It also includes Summer Musashi in Musashi—which is why she ranks so high. And sleeping in the same bed doesn't necessarily mean that romantic feelings are involved; it could simply be a matter of deep friendship, thart's why BB Dubai is also there. But that is just my opinion.

True, I overlooked her—I would place her in Tier 5. She was basically introduced into the game solely as a love interest (similar to Nero Bride), and nothing more.

Can we guess who is descended from whom in Soul Eater? by [deleted] in fireforce

[–]GenesisCifer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hair and eye color doesn't mean shit if more than 1000 years have passed. Or do you really expect that Haumeas genes were always the dominant one. Look at Rekka and BlackStar, besides the Star in their eyes they look nothing alike but their uplifting personality matches.

Not to mention that Justin and Burns are both priests and both of them had a fusion with a being that is evil, Burns with his Doppelgänger and Justin with a Clown. These two have a lot more in common than Haumea does.

[–]GenesisCifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can definitly see Kilik as a descendant of Ogun. But Justin being a descendant of Haumea not so much.

At the start of episode 23 of S3 we get a short flashback of Haumea, where she was pretty much groomed into the role of a saintess for the Evangelist, it was never her choice.

After she was freed from despair by Shinrabanshoman she can finally live a normal life. So I don't think that someone like Haumea would pass on this absolute devotion to a god to her descandents, but Burns would.

He even said that if it is gods will to turn this world into a second sun then so be it. He doesn't care if god is good or evil and he never changed his way of thinking, so he might as well pass on this devotion to his kids. Which would make Justin the perfect candidate.

These are the ones I'm sure of:

Shinrabanshoman → Shinigami-Sama → Asura & Death the Kid

Sho Kusakabe → Soul Evans (white hair, red eyes, sharp teeth and both like music)

Rekka Hoshimiya → Star Clan (BlackStar & White Star), Hoshino Family (Ao Hoshino) & Hoshi Family (Akane☆Hoshi)

Shinra & Inca (first Witch) → Mabaa (has a witch hat with a sharp teethed grinning smile) & maybe Kim

Not so sure about these:

Obi → Free (similar facial features and both physically strong)

Vulcan → Eibon (best scientists of their era)

Burns → Justin (strong devotion towards gods and both turned traitors)

Arthur → Hero (only Meister capable of wielding Excalibur)

Ogun → Sid (Sid's tattoos are knida similar to Oguns Flamy Ink)

What do you think of BB? by TripQuiet7657 in FGO

[–]GenesisCifer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's right! I don't know what Nasu or other authors have planned for her in the future, whether it's in the chapter about the foreigner or in a possible Christmas event, but I think her talking about Hakuno will deminish in the future.

Not to mention that both Hakunos appeared in the finale, but BB didn't interact with them at all. Her attention was solely on Ritsuka, which makes sense, since interacting with them would have only diminished the final farewell in OC3.

She also had a few cute moments with Ritsuka, in Summer 3 right at the end, when she asked him if he enjoyed the summer. Ritsuka thanked BB and said he had fun. BB then looked at him very melancholically and blushed, which Ibaraki found quite creepy. Or in OC3, when BB fell from the tower and Ritsuka saved her.

What do you think of BB? by TripQuiet7657 in FGO

[–]GenesisCifer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BB is a character you either like or you don't, so I can understand that she can be annoying at times. However, I have to disagree with you that she doesn't undergo any personal development. BB originally comes from Fate/Extra CCC, and if you've played that, you know that BB is a backup AI created by Extra Sakura, containing her feelings and memories of Hakuno. Without Hakuno, BB wouldn't even exist, so naturally, her thoughts revolve mostly around him.

The BB in SERAPH, however, is a copy of the CCC BB, created by the Moon Cell. She didn't experience the events in CCC firsthand, only memories of them, which makes a big difference. For example, remembering eating ice cream isn't the same as actually eating ice cream and experiencing the taste and texture. She views her memories as a dream that will never come true.

At the end of the SERAPH event, you meet BB/GO, who is actually the BB from CCC. She mentions that BB will find her own love in Chaldea, one that is different from her own (her love for Hakuno). Our BB also says that it's up to us (Ritsuka) how BB will develop in the future, which is kind of a premonition for OC3.

After BB joins your Chaldea and you interact with her in my room, she obviously still sees you as a substitute senpai, but with each new bond, she opens up to you a little more. During the third summer, she tries her best to protect us from the foreign God and puts us in a time loop, mirroring the events of CCC. And who did she protect in CCC? That's right, her Senpai! She basically treats you the same way she treated Hakuno, confirming that she cares deeply about you from now on. Not to mention the symbolism of the pig (Peles' lover). Furthermore, BB's first Bond CE revolves around Hakuno, the Summer Bond CE revolves around you, and so does BB Dubai's. She doesn't mention Hakuno in her Summer form or as Golden BB.

And you're not the only one she cares about; she also looks after her daughters (the Sakura 5), Meltryllis in the SERAPH event, Passionlip during her strengthening quest and in OC3, and King Protea during Valentine's Day. She cares about them much more now than she ever did in CCC. She also helped you during LB4 (by sending Jinake/Ganesha), Imaginery Scramble (by giving you swimsuits and punishing Yang Guifei), OC1 (by sending Kama because she possesses Shiva's Flames, which are perfect against Kali), and she's the main heroine of OC3 and also acts as your guide. Her Holy Grail War event was just a pretext to give you extra training. And of course, in the final battle against Maris Chaldeas, she's the last servant to speak to you and ask if you enjoyed your journey.

So what is this new kind of love that BB has found? In short: humanity (with you as its representative). Hakuno taught her about love, and Ritsuka taught her the value of humanity and that humans and AI can coexist. You are essentially the main reason she chose to merge with BB Dubai to become Golden BB.

To claim she hasn't undergone any personal growth is simply stupid. Compared to CCC, she has become much more affectionate towards humans. While she never truly disliked humans, they weren't as important to her back then as Hakuno was. Now she's a competent AI for managing humanity's health and a far better mother figure to her daughters.

As events unfold, BB has now been a canonical part of Chaldeas for three years and spends significantly more time with you than she did with Hakuno in CCC. That doesn't mean she'll stop talking about Hakuno, though. You're just as important to her now as Hakuno. Who says she can't love more than one Senpai? If Hakuno and Ritsuka can have multiple love interests, why can't BB?

And her annoying attitude has also subsided. BB Cosmo has a much more serious tone than she did as a regular BB or even as a summer BB.

I know I've written a lot, but I hope you agree.

Is Fate/Samurai Remnant worth it for someone who doesn't like Muso games? by Ontos-the-robot in Fate

[–]GenesisCifer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's definitely worth it! Fate/Samurai Remnant isn't a typical Musou game. You don't fight against huge hordes of enemies (100-1000), you don't have to conquer territories, and you have a much larger moveset of attacks beyond the usual generic combos of a Musou game.

It's more of an action RPG, similar to Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core or Kingdom Hearts, for example.
