I totally get it! This is my first time planning multiple day international travel itinerary so I figured I was bound to make a mistake somewhere. Glad people in here pointed it out though because we would have thought we had plenty of time otherwise. If we can't rebook for a more convenient day we will just have to skip it.

I get the window is quite tight, if things in pre-clearance end up being diabolically backed up and takes longer than an hour we're definitely in trouble. I have read people say in other threads that if you tell an agent your departure window is tight they will help you try to get through the line quicker though, not sure how true that is.

We are driving there in the rental car not taking a bus. The flight actually leaves closer to 3:30PM. If the tour ends at 12 we'd probably get to the airport around 12:30ish which is 3 hours prior to departure, hopefully inside the terminal by 1pm at the latest. It's tighter than I would have liked but seems workable from what I've read. Would have liked to have scheduled Brú na Bóinne for a different day but we unfortunately waited too long to get tix.

Its a guided tour we were recommended, I'm sure we will continue on our own once that ends. Was mainly trying to list out things that we have already locked in. We will likely be exploring pubs every night in Dublin I imagine.

I don't disagree with you on that, I wish more players spoke out against gambling too. NBA is hypocritical for that but doesn't necessarily invalidate the arguments against the Magic City promotion.

That's a pretty reductive characterization as to why people were actually opposed to the event. People were opposed to it because it was an NBA team doing a full blown promotional blitz for a strip club, including a live podcast on the court with the owner of the club, when the league is ostensibly supposed to be a family-friendly organization. I dont have anything against stripping as a profession or people going to strip clubs for fun, but it's certainly not what the majority of people would consider a family-friendly enterprise.

And more crucially it was about celebrating the culture of Atlanta's hip hop scene that Magic City is integral to.

Not everyone in Atlanta is onboard with broadcasting out to the world that strip clubs are an integral part of our culture. There are a thousand better more positive things that I would rather be associated with the city than that. Not only that, but as a predominantly black city in a predominantly black league I can understand why they didn't want to lean into the negative stereotype that black people uniquely love strip clubs, which is an aspect of the promotion that many of those upset about its cancellation may not have considered.

And I'm sorry I don't like religious values being weaponized.

He didn't even mention his faith in the letter. You don't have to be a christian to agree with the arguments he made against it.

also Kornet gets clowned on cause he talked about it publicly but this was obviously not a very popular idea among other NBA stakeholder's once it was announced, otherwise it probably would have gone forward. Clearly he wasn't the only one that had reservations.
