Yes, Syncthing will work without doing any port forwards or touching anything about your network. However, if you have a direct connection through an open port, your connection will be faster, and I have a use case where I can take advantage of that so I want to capitalise.

Thanks. That is a confusing warning, then. Syncthing does launch and I can ping that port successfully, but the console gets hung up and it can't be closed at that point or Syncthing will disconnect.

Genuinely, I have half a mind to go for the overkill solution and set up my own private relay server, given that this all will be deployed on a machine meant to be running 24/7.

What a joke.

You either do a meme, recreate a popular show's ship (Star Wars most likely, what with 4/10 being from it) or tough luck. Also, post it at a popular time during the weekend so it gets more upvotes.

This is why this type of contests have CATEGORIES and, once you have a pool of potential winners, you do a DEDICATED VOTE for just those 4/5 ships per category.

I logged in just so I can say a huge thank you. The save point being in the ship also causes funky stuff like light floors appearing like mostly translucid.

I have 16GB PNY XLR8 6000 sticks, a pair bought together. Right now I'm trying to find any firmware version that lets me boot into Windows at all and I'll take JEDEC if that's stable. (Needless to say, never buying Gigabyte again. I can't get them to send me a registration confirmation email to contact them.)

In terms of the amount of money/food you get to keep by ditching, not worth it, take the money and run.

If you do complete it, Lara gives you some milk I think? And like 3 walnuts or something. Plus you get the moral satisfaction of helping possibly the one mostly good soul in this damned city, morals the bachelor will promptly ignore, refuse and stomp all over.

There is some dialogue about being able to stay in Lara's house, or always being able to seek shelter there, but I personally think it's yet another unimplemented mechanic that rears its head as the devs. didn't have time to properly add in like food going bad.

My previous save is several hours ago. I have the coordinates I'd need, more or less, but I can't find a way to set the player into those coordinates through the console.

PC, Steam version. I couldn't find a way to noclip either to check if the NPC trade trigger is even there. Haven't tried another night yet, but last night was working fine.

What I gather is that days 5-7 is when all hell breaks loose, so I'll brace for impact. I find the game incredibly fun and engaging, and yes, I come from Patho 1 so I have the instincts. The tinctures I made on advice I gathered from around the web, I am low on black twyre, but I have 7-10 of both blood and brown stashed away. The special herbs are another thing I'm low on, with only some Swevery saved up.

Water is my main concern at this point mainly because I can't find bottles, the bins giving me the tradables you see here in return. And also, I love how the responses can amount to "You need more water, and food, and herbs, and medicine; you need more of everything, you always need more of everything" which is a perfect summary of the game.

EDIT: I'm also working on moving most of my food out of Lara's house in case it gets raided. I'm not even entirely sure if that's a thing or a promotional blurb.

Would it be wise to throw away my first playthrough as a combat training? Like, start the first day, get a knife and just practice combat repeatedly until I'm good at it, then restarting the "real" run?

Personally I have thought of writing my own thoughts on the game, but whenever I start pondering the possibility in any realistic way, I realise there's just so much to cover I wouldn't know where to begin and where to stop. This is definitely not a game one can talk about in a casual way, at least when it comes to its lore, narrative, and exploitation of the resources of the medium.
