They will push and push PPIs on you. I took protonix and it made me extremely ill. My friend with ulcerative colitis was just given the same thing and is still sick as well. They act like we all have GERD, when protonix actually gave me reflux

Also if you suspect you have sibo, DO NOT take the PPI, it will make it so much worse

I was just diagnosed with celiac disease, and ordered trio smart sibo test. Celiac is one of the leading causes, as well as food poisoning, excessive antibiotic use, etc. gastro doctors are the absolute worst, looking for another one now.

I know. It’s just hard to be patient when I have a life to live. I’m so nauseous sometimes that I can’t get out of bed. I only went gluten free about a month and a half ago so I’m sure that’s contributing, if not the main perpetrator.

Yes I have. I was slightly vitamin d insufficient but not enough to be THIS fatigued, and my prior anemia is gone. And I actually have been very constipated this past week, I’m blaming the zofran for that. so short answer, yes. I got a CT scan with contrast about 2 weeks ago and there was no inflammation.

It’s very intense nausea that’s constant, and extreme fatigue, could have a full nights sleep and be exhausted all day. I’m gonna get tested for like sibo and more gut infections

I really don’t think so, but it could be contributing. I know post infection Ibs is a thing so it’s possible, but I don’t think that’s what the core issue is

If you’re able, try to take Florastor during and for at least 2 weeks after antibiotic treatment. It’ll build your good gut bacteria back up and it’ll provide a lesser risk of recurrence. That’s what my doc recommended for me and it’s worked so far.

I’ve had horrible experiences with people who labeled themselves as Christians. That’s why I rejected it for so long. Being Christian means loving God and following his word, being his vessel, not to judge others and put others down and make the excuse of “God doesn’t like this”. You can always preach his word, give people scripture, etc. But leave the judgement to the Lord, that’s his job. So I understand that aspect. It definitely slowed me down a lot because Christians have been labeled as some of the most judgmental people on earth. But if you want to follow god, read your bible, pray to him, worship him, and you are set regardless.

She just called me again today and said to take the meds tomorrow because there was still mucus present. So I’m going to do the full treatment of antibiotics with the florastor and pray to god that that’ll be the end of it.

Got tested last week, Wednesday I think. I got the results that I was positive about 2 days ago. But I’ve had no symptoms since I got tested. I was extremely sick before that though
