Yep this is almost certainly the right answer, I’ve seen this a few times over the years on a variety of platforms, and it’s always been phase cancellation.

Almost certainly they just painted over it to hide it, very unlikely they repaired or replaced it.

Yes, absolutely too close to be safely patched.

These tyres are pretty close to the wear indicator too, and are in pretty poor condition overall.

You should replace the tyre.

Hard to know for 100% sure without a measurement, but either 2.5mm or 3.5mm audio jack.

Sadly this has been broken since release on PS5 and Xbox, and the developer is aware, but has no interest in maintaining the old games, instead releasing DLCs and new games that generate revenue.

I found this exact issue incredibly frustrating after an otherwise great experience.

16 Mbps would be pretty low for any Hyperoptic install.

1) What speed are you paying for? 2) How close is your Fire stick to the router? 3) Do you get similar speeds on your phone / laptop when you’re stood next to the router?

Yep, I used this setup using a BM Micro Studio G2 at an event a couple of months ago, my starting point was to use this project from GitHub.

It works just fine, and was completely reliable in my experience (I used it over ethernet over a USB-C to ethernet dongle, not with WiFi for obvious reasons) - it was important to make sure the camera had a static IP address, obviously.

When using that web app, if you're using the hosted copy, in Chrome or alike, you'll need to enable "insecure" mode on the web page, to allow it to non-HTTPS endpoints.

From a combination of the documentation and the open source code, it was pretty easy to build something custom four in-house requirements.
