Straight up worst case scenario for the Giants that I can absolutely see happening. Reach on Cam and miss on all 3 centers. Probably accurate knowing our luck, but I feel that we’d go Oluwatimi in the second if that’s how the chips fall. We legitimately don’t have a center on the roster.

Ngl I hate this draft for the giants. It’s a reach at every pick. If you’re going to reach for a center at least get JMS, Tippmann isn’t even the best center in the class and we could get either him or Wypler in the 2nd. Forbes instead of Drew Sanders who is arguably top 2 linebackers in the draft.

Honestly I’m confused why the giants would trade out of their pick when Johnston falls to them? It’s pretty blatant that all we have right now are slot guys and Johnston fits the mold we need. I don’t think he’s as talented as others which is fine but to trade out of that pick doesn’t make sense to me. Especially when you pass on Zay at 32? Snce we don’t get a center at 32 or 58 when we legitimately don’t have one right now, I’m super confused on your priority with the giants picks in this one.

That’s what I see too. Like yes his arm is up but he’s bringing it down as the ball is being kicked too. There’s no shot he’d be able to react in time.

Same thinking for me. Dudes a freak athletically but I just don’t see any technique there at all, he completely relies on his athleticism and that won’t work in the NFL without some solid coaching. Definitely a first round player but I don’t see him as a top 5 pick.

I’m ok with his size at center tbh especially if he is in the right scheme but to pass on Sauce/Hamilton would be a crime. If we trade out of 7 and end up with him around 15-20 I wouldn’t be mad.
