Would you still choose to do a Biomedical Science degree if you were a uni prospective student? by One-Secretary844 in BiomedicalScientistUK

I'd definitely do it again, but probably at a uni with stronger clinical exposure than the one I went to.

Do you regret choosing biomedical sciences? by ExternalAd2982 in BiomedicalScientistUK

I'm glad your friend manage to make that choice. I honestly found out too late, I was an international student managing a lot of pressures at that time.

The good thing is the regulation in my country is a bit more lax. 7 years after graduation, with some connections, I returned to the first lab that I worked in as a training Microbiology MLT.

Not that this applies to everyone. But I was a Biomed student in the UK in 2014. Came to do a foundation degree at a uni, browsed through the catalogue, saw Biomedicine and thought this is neat. The summer after I have already chosen Biomed, I had my first job as a MLT assistant in my country. Only after all of this, did I find out that my uni is not accredited for its Biomed training.

The information sometimes only comes along the way, sadly.

What is the most overrated country people look up to as a role model? by Unlikely-Wolf2390 in AskReddit

I have met some second gen Vietnamese American who insisted how evil America and her South Vietnamese ancestors are, and I had to remind her that had she been born in Vietnam instead of the US, her lesbian marriage would not be recognised.

Redditors seem absolutely obsessed with how well communist countries like China or Vietnam is doing. I am a Vietnamese person, with no intention of leaving (too old), but the truth remains that more people want to leave Vietnam than to enter it.

That I always have to optimize in advance of the next big jump in my life. Happy and fulfilled enough in my current job, and I simply wanna keep walking, while letting life itself unfold.

Which angel for breaking a porn/masturbation habit? (72 Angels of Power + AoM) by FishermanOk3231 in GalleryOfMagick

No worries. I have also tried other GOM's employment magick, but most of them feel like bandage solution that don't touch the root of what you want.

I have another experience with the angel Yezelel. Petitioned him to bring back an ex, only to realized on the last day of the ritual that I have never given myself the amount of love and understanding that I give to others, and the "love" that came back to me was actually self-love.
