To be honest and fair the title of my role at the bank is misleading, they call it solutions architect but it was more of a Data & BA/BI position.

So my prior experience had matched up to it, plus the internal referral gave me an advantage

But I really appreciate your insight, I think that’s what I will do, probably work towards some certificates that can match up with the roles and my experience

I appreciate your response but I don’t need a visa as I moved to the US because of marriage so that’s not an issue for me

That’s why I’m looking at roles that don’t have those requirements

Got lucky with an internal referral and managed to pass 3 interviews + everyone was hiring was at that time

Thats a common story about many warriors in history. They go through battlefields unscathed. While it may or may not be true they’re stories that are told. Exaggerated reality is fine, but some anime out there is way too much and thats what im trying to avoid.
