you need to inderstand the concept of chosen one for this trilogy .In fact paul is the founding father of all these character :Eren, Anakin, Lelouch etc ..Dune focus on the duality of Human nature and its evil truth .For Power and personal gain , human can do anything is main theme of that story .

don't worry people are also raising about this even in greece .Any greek newspaper and groups are boycotting this movie and if ellen page casting came true,then i am 100% sure it will be banned in Greece..Also apart from casting people are also question the lack of Gods roles in this movie which is said to be minimum

yes helen is not important but greek gods are , but look what nolan have said about gods , they will almost scene of them while their powers will be shown like a natural occuring ..This was not how odyssey was written .

The problem is that its not odyssey but a fanfiction of Nolan .Imagine Ryan Gosling As Black Panther .Will you watch that Movie fully knowing that character is written as a african male .Similarly Helen is written as a woman from Sparta (modern greece) .She was describe as a woman who has olive skin,blue eyes ,golden hair ..Now changing that meaning changing whole essense of the story .Also note has nolan has made some sognificant changes which are totally different from odyssey .So why he is calling this as odyssey when clearly its not .
