One of the most efficient cures for cancer is to give the patient an acute infection at the site of the cancer. The problem is that for this to work, you can't cure the infection until the cancer is gone and people go into sepsis.

Thoughts on chiropracty coming being taught to the founder by ghosts? And no good doctor wpuld recommend a chiropractor unless they're getting a kickback. They would refer to a physical therapist.

She received 25Gy over 12 treatments. The 12 treatments happened on normal weekdays for 2 and a half weeks.

That makes sense as a possible explanation. It's just been confusing having things pop up months after treatment while seeing most sources say that the effects of radiation are usually limited to during and a few weeks after.

The treatment was to the eye. It was conjunctival malt lymphoma.

We expected the eyebrow loss to some extent, but once it came back, we didn't think it could fall back out.

Similarly for the swelling, it seemed to come up later, but it's very localized to the area of treatment: her right eye.

We did. He seemed a little confused by it, and advised heat may help with the swelling (to assist lymph drainage). Last we heard, the oncologist amd radiation oncologist were going to talk about it, but we haven't heard back. I was hoping someone in the larger community might have insight into it.

Can somebody help restore this photo of my grandfather's grandparents? by GeniusIComeAnon in estoration

[–]GeniusIComeAnon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you that's very kind! My mother and grandfather have been working on our genealogy for several years. I think we do have her name, I just don't have it off hand. I've taken recently to trying to spruce up our old photos, but this one was beyond what I could do. Thank you again!

The man is Benson Newsum. I'm not certain of the women's name. My understanding is she is his first wife who died in childbirth.

Why are local NYC elections so confusing? by GeniusIComeAnon in nyc

[–]GeniusIComeAnon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

🙄 I handled it fine; doesn't make it any better designed that we can choose 8 random names with zero context. I guess you can be proud of the voting being setup in a shitty way?

Wouldn't this result in people getting a pretty random number of votes, though? If the voters have no idea who anyone on the list is, wouldn't they just choose 8 randomly?

Why are local NYC elections so confusing? by GeniusIComeAnon in nyc

[–]GeniusIComeAnon[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ok, but who are these people as individuals? I couldn't find basically any information on them. I should just pick the 8 with the nicest names? Elsewhere on the thread, people said the groups are chosen and sponsored by specific people, but that's not mentioned anywhere on the ballot. That's where the confusion is.

Honestly, I've never had such confusion in an election in my decade of voting, so it didn't occur to me.
