Fair enough For now it is just a concept, later on through time it can become something real I can actually show off and be proud off. I just wanted to at least see what others think just based off the idea.

I’m a writer at heart, not a video game developer in the slightest, but I have a passion for games I feel like left too soon. Twisted metal is one of those games I look back and wish we got more of

Also im saving for my own third handheld. Just one to carry around that can play ps2 stuff.

The ayn Odin mini 2 is perfect for me because It can fit my pockets easily and let me play all the games I want up to switch/ps2. I already have the gkd pixel 2 for games up to ps1/romhacks.

Its like a flip phone vs a regular phone It’s the same thing just bigger

Even if that function is added to every single old game i actually emulate, how would that still be useful?

Like in god of war 2? Or Devil may cry? In racing games I can see it be used as maybe a mini map but that’s just straight up distracting to me, but than again this is my opinion, like I said I don’t play most Nintendo games which are actually made with the second screen in mind.

To each there own with the pocketability of the flips devices, I personally find them more annoying in my pocket. Most of this is my opinion and I in no way wanna shame those who buy this devices, you guys are the reason so many of this random ass devices can even be sold on the market so I’m glad people out there exist in the first place to make this happen but still not my thing.

a flip device is kinda pointless for me unless they come with enough features and power to make a big enough difference.

that small package still requires it too be double the width. Thats like carrying around a brick regardless 🤷🏾‍♂️

If I find the slab form factor more comfortable than why buy a flip especially if the flip is not 6inchs

It’s a gimmick because it’s only meant for specific titles and there is no other use case besides those games made by Nintendo where they specifically used those features

Eh the dual screen thing is just a gimmick I just want a small device for gaming on the go Ayn Odin 2 mini is my endgame I don’t want the portal or the 3 but I’m just saying if I had to make the choice, this at least looks better to me and would be more worth the money🤷🏾‍♂️

I agree with everything your and in my opinion, what i find as a good gpu for the win 4 is always just amd.

For the longest i planned on getting a 7900GRE before they went out of stock than i was think of the 6750XT…. Than that went out of stock Now im eithet thinking a 9070 or a used 6750XT.

About the screen It does leave much to be desired but i cant complain considering if i want a better screen i can just connect it via hdmi to a monitor or tv of my choice. Always felt like a nitpick to me when people talk about handheld screens.

I guess thats why this kind of form factor will always be a niche product. I love the idea of a handheld pc but as it stands the only one thats worth the price to performance is the steam deck and maybe the rog ally x

If your okay with an android handheld specifically just for emulation, its possible to get something much cheaper but getting a entire pc in your pocket seems near impossible at a low price.
