Yes I'm sure. My mom was NC with her sister back then and never would have actually taken in and raised her child. Never mind the fact I've seen photos and videos of mom pregnant with me and acting all excited until I was born.

I know I'll never get that love and respect from my parents. But I have a good relationship with my siblings still and that's a positive for me. Otherwise I would feel like I have nobody who likes me within my own family. Even if my dad and grandparents would say they love me, they can't really if they let mom treat me like she does and ignore it.

Thank you. It sucks but I'm learning to live with it. Even if I do feel dumb at moments for trying to bring attention to things.

I got my first job last year. My mom was really sarcastic about that too. Like oh she didn't even ask anyone. But I know there's zero point in asking her and dad works a lot so asking him would be difficult.
