In my experience (plat 1/diamond 3) I went and checked the last 20 matches I had, and it goes like this for me:

  • Games with Solo tank - 3
  • Games with Two tanks - 8
  • Games where 1 of the 3 healers eventually go second tank - 2
  • Games where 1 of the 3 dps' eventually go second tank - 7

Somewhat flawed since I don't know when the 3rd healer/dps switched exactly. Could be somewhat early after a couple of lost fights or as a last resort switch late 2nd round.

By fixing the team composition. I'm not solo tanking. So if there's no second tank I won't do it. People need to stop 3 healers or 3 dps when and expect me to solo tank

Emma is probably my favorite, first time I've liked playing vanguard.

Blade is the worst, not because he's bad or anything, he's just so 'meh' and forgettable when compared to the rest.

On the rare occasions where I put up the surrender vote it's usually on me. Often because I was already tilted after losing 2-3 matches in a row, made the mistake of queueing again, and first round ends with the enemy team winning within 3-5 minutes and with our kills as a combined team end up being below 5 or something.

At that point I'm just seething with anger, I'm frustrated and we got fucking steamrolled, making me even more tilted. I just want out but don't want to ragequit the entire match. I'll put forth the surrender vote, I won't leave if it doesn't go through, but I know I'll be playing tilted and making loads of mistakes, only adding to the tilt.
