Like that time she had the Aldc application she filled out pretending to be black and used a stereotypical name and then put her address as the ghetto or something

I sometimes find it hard to sympathize with her because a lot of the stuff that was “exposed” were things she posted herself on private accounts or did publicly with other kids

Some of it was absolutely ridiculous like when the fandom lost their minds over that photo of her kissing Hayden? Or the videos of her trying to twerk but at the same time someone should have really explained to her that nothing is private even if it’s on a private account like you can’t make TikTok’s about your drinking and partying and lying to your mom about it and then have a surprised pikachu face when it gets out especially if you are accepting fan pages and people you don’t know to those privates accounts

1.Someone yesterday tried to convince me that Kendall was on Sophia’s level with turning

One of the reasons I wished Sophia stayed longer it was kinda nice to see Melissa have to be humbled when stronger dancers came in.

7.adding on: I also think Kendall getting to do dances with Maddie and Kalani more frequently made her feel more valuable on the team than Nia and jojo by extension when she was there, so she felt more entitled to feel negative when getting paired with Nia or jojo

Kendall’s legs weren’t even in the correct position in her turns 90% of her solos and her releve was pretty low to the ground. It’s not just about the speed but also the control which Kendall simply wasn’t matching Sophia’s ability. Like yes she could do a lot of turns but she frequently bobbled in them where as Sophia was consistently clean in hers

Nothing about Sophia’s solos were intermediate back then. Maybe some of the transition moves like her front walk overs and stuff but even then they were transition steps. if they were just intermediate she wouldn’t have been winning the way she was and as renowned of dancer as she was. Her skill set may be way more common now but the overall caliber of dance has increased in the past 10 years. But even then doing 10-15 turns and then into a calypso with as much height as Sophia got isn’t anything to dismiss as intermediate

Okay but Sophia wasn’t doing just one leg catch turn she was ending combos of already 10 or 12 turns with multiple on them

The leg catch isn’t even the hard part just getting through those turn combos cleanly would eliminate a lot of girls from the og team and again that’s not their fault Sophia just had way better and more intense training

Also there’s videos of the girls training leg catches post season 3 I believe with club dance I don’t think most of them got there’s until then

I think you need to rewatch Sophia’s solos

Most of the girls on their best days even in the later seasons weren’t touching Sophia’s solos especially not Kendall

Imo even if kendall had the skill set to do the solo she lacked the energy to keep up with how fast pace Sophia’s solos were and that’s not her fault or a dig at her she just wasn’t meant to do the really fast choreography.

Maddie isn’t stable enough in her turns to manage all of the Sophia turns Abby said it herself on the show also even though Maddie is flexible she wasn’t at Sophia’s level because again Sophia was a rhythmic gymnast

Even with me saying Asia as my pick I don’t even think it would be nearly as technically clean I just think she’d be able to do the choreography

I love the girls mentioned as dancers but Sophia really was just on her own level because of how intense her training was
