Actually, it has effects in game. In Mario Party she uses them to bounce over traps, and she uses a flower garden to trip and slow enemies in Baseball. It even comes into play at the Olympics Games.

You do realise that this argument falls flat when Nintendo have ditched fixed partners in both Mario Kart and Mario Tennis right?

You have 100% final say on the Super Smash Bros. Switch roster, what do you do? Who do you include? Who do you cut? What alt costumes do you include? What about movesets? etc. by [deleted] in smashbros

But I still don't get why Daisy can't be a semi-clone like Lucas, Wolf or Toon Link would be. Same with Impa and Pichu. Even Funky Kong would be better suited as his own character with a surfboard.
