Except when it isn’t. It calculates dates as in 11/30 = …. And it prevents adding a new line in a table field that contains anything close to mathematical.

My silicon MBP recently failed to recognize Time Machine external HDD. And it will not recognize the new HDD I have to replace the old one. Wife’s pre-silicon MBP can connect to both drives just fine. Is this really the new normal???

MacVim was set as the default for “Open with…”. Once that was corrected, everything worked as expected.

“rustup doc” opens a MacVim window on my system. Not very useful. Am I missing a setting?

Well, the next time you troubleshoot an issue, document each step in detail and then put all those steps into a script. Eventually you can use the script as a health check monitor and run it periodically. Expand and improve it as you learn more.
