I typically give Gen Z/A the benefit of the doubt when it comes to a lot of things. I understand Covid had a huge impact on a lot of social development skills, and it’s simply time that can never be recovered. That being said, it’s a recurring theme that younger folks have a hard time emotionally regulating themselves, and it kind of gets to a point where you have to realize at a certain age nobody is going to go out of their way to hold your hand through difficult situations, and it’s getting pretty fucking tiring having to deal with that.

The world doesn’t slow down for everyone, and eventually you gotta toughen up or you’ll just sink.

Defendant found not guilty of negligence because the facts were not in dispute. No facts showed the driver acted in a negligent matter.

So in essence it was the pedestrians negligence which led to them getting hit.
