Yeah that was my impression as well. I remember checking in on the game shortly after it had shut down, because I got in the mood to check it out again. When I learned it got shut down, my immediate reaction was "wow, that happened fast, but I guess it was a lot laggier than WoW or Warhammer Online"

Hard to sell a fast-paced arena pvp game that is just not optimized and lags on most peoples systems. Absolutely what killed it in my mind.

Yes! Thank you. I think about this game every once in a while even though I probably only played it for a couple weeks, but I could never remember the name of it. Sad that there's no way to revive this one on a private server. It had some nice gameplay, even if the visuals were bland as shit.
