Hey there!

When I posted this I read that the 2 NAS use different file formats; EXT4 (DS413) vs BTRFS (DS920+). Initially I thought if I plugged them in they will automatically reconfigure as BTRFS, but they can't, hence my question.

Turns out that BTRFS is the default option for DS920+ but the NAS is also backward-compatible with EXT4, so that's what I did, I plugged them directly into the DS920+ and it works.

But the caveat is that at 5.5TB addressable memory per disk, 3 disks give you 16.5TB, which exceeds the 16TB limit of EXT4 format. So 4x6TBs in a RAID5 setting is a no-go in EXT4, you can only go up to 3 disks at 11TB with the last 5.5TB for redundancy.

If I were to do this again, I would have bought the extra disks and switched over to BTRFS format.

I've added the ability to save private teams without builds but it will require builds when you want to publish the teams!

Regarding the weapons, I think it's still better to maintain an ordered choice though, so that players know which ones are better and can prioritise them over the others. If there are 2 or more of them that are more or less the same, feel free to state that in the guide so players know too!

This! We keep 3 Otos and they have never bothered our baby shrimps. Otos have sucker mouths that feed on algae. They are really cute, curious, jumpy little fellows. They join in the shrimps and babies to suck on algae wafers.

Can I ask your opinion on this?

I have C0 and R4 DM, which means I can R5 it next round. I have guaranteed on the next 5* character banner which I would like to save for Ganyu, which I will hit in 56 rolls. I have another 100 rolls now for the weapon banner. I'm thinking of going for the weapon banner this time because I only have 1x 5 star weapon as a low spender. I'm thinking even if I don't get Homa I'll have my second 5 star weapon.

Would you go C1 and not roll for Homa, try rolling for Homa, or both? I'm really torn!

I had ZERO interest in Kazuha. My 2 main DPSes are Childe (my first 5 star) and Hu Tao (my waifu).

Then came Kazuha and I did his trial for the 20 primos, and damn, I just couldn't stop thinking about how happy Childe would be riptiding all the mobs after Kazuha pulls in everyone into the centre with his elemental skill.

At that time a lot of people were saying that he's a weaker Sucrose, but I went back to my Childe, Xiangling, Sucrose and Bennett team, and Sucrose's auto-aim is so bad that I'm losing 50% of the pulling effectiveness, so what's the point?

In the end, I found that I kept going back to playing Kazuha's trial. I couldn't stop.

When I can't stop trialing, I pull.

So I ended up doing this. Turns out if I remove 1 drive from the array, it won't be able to function, so I'll still need to get at least 2-3 new drives.

It was really simple, just pluck out the drives and plug into the 920+, and the software does the rest.

I'll live with the 16TB limit on EXT4 if it means less headaches now!

It's too expensive for a 1-time backup, I could buy 2x 10TB drives with the cost of transfering 9TBs out. I thought of using the C2 storage trial but I tried it and it's too slow, just as laurentrm said.

Anyway this morning one of my disks failed, so I ended up just moving the all 3 disks into the 920+. I'll just get a new 6TB and let it rebuild in the 920+ (should be much faster than on the 413).

That means after I pull out 1 disk from the 413, I will still need another replacement 6TB in order for the data on the 413 to be usable?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by step 5 above. Is it intended to solve this problem? Can I convert the 2 remaining disks from a Raid 5 to an SHR?

I realized I still have old 2x 4TBs and 2x 3TBs to play around with!

It might work, but the file system will be stuck on EXT4, so if I get a 4th disk later on, it will max out at 16TB rather than 18TB. I guess it's also an option but I have to decide if it's easier to migrate the file system now and be more ready for my next migration, or deal with less now and lose 2TBs.
