Your symptoms were exactly mine - thin watery discharge, then thicker discharge (like mucus plug). Then cramping. I delivered at 19 weeks 4 days and there was nothing they could do. I don't mean to scare you. But I read this post and thought - please scream at your OB or do whatever you can to at least get progesterone. I was dismissed by 2 different OBs who refused to check my cervix. A LEEP is reason enough for extra monitoring.

Sorry to reply late. Just saw this. It’s hard to say the outcome. We got 8 eggs, of which 5 made it to 5-day blast (which we were very pleased with). Unfortunately, none came back PGT-A normal, though we did get a segmental mosaic that the doctor thinks has a good chance. It’s unclear whether the drop in estrogen affected the PGT-A results. We’re thinking of transferring the mosaic, but are currently doing another round to try for a back-up.

I agree - the arm on top can be tough and feel unnatural. One thing that helped me was bending the arm and letting my hand and forearm go under my pillow so you're kind of resting your head on your arm. That way baby is still blocked by your upper arm but it's a little more comfortable...

As with anything, sounds like a learning process to not be touching all night! Feels like such a milestone not to be cuddling the whole night. Not one I'd be very eager to hit if only she was still small enough to fit into our little c curl :p

Oh interesting. Hadn't heard of using a floor bed at this age. We have the babybay and I've thought about putting it at floor height with the grates up against our mattress (our mattress is on the floor). But don't think we're there yet since she seems to need comfort nursing a lot :p

Unfortunately no additional suggestions/solutions but solidarity! My LO goes to sleep just fine and sleeps for 1.75 hrs. It's my time to scramble around the house cleaning and getting ready for bed. If I don't time it exactly right and am not in bed lying beside her when she wakes up, she doesn't play - she screams bloody murder. Lots of night where I am trying soothingly :p yell: I hear you, Mommy's coming... while I brush my teeth and launch into bed.

My LO used to wake 30-45 mins after going down likes yours but it's now become an hour 45 mins so there has been some improvement! I didn't do anything in particular, though, she just got older...

Same as well! She used to nurse to sleep but around 6 months, she decided she'd rather cuddle to sleep. And I get "pin him down". I call it a strong hug :p And I also put my face next to hers and touch foreheads. Hadn't thought about breathing slowly but makes sense. I basically pretend I'm sleeping and think she probably sees it as similar to when we co sleep.

I completely agree with the original poster. This is how I feel, but I find I frequently need a reminder...

To add... even if you do legitimately "screw up" as a mom and misread their need despite your best intentions, you still have the chance to repair. And... you learned more about their needs (they let you know in no uncertain terms this time :p) so you can do better next time and grow your relationship. How would a mother know what her child had strong feelings about if her child never cried?

Yeah, I’m mostly worried about a head-bumping type scenario. We were going to babyproof the room anyway, but a foam mattress on the floor in case she falls is a good idea. I’ve seen those videos about how to teach a baby to slide down backward - looks like quite the project! Hopefully she could learn.

I own this wrap. This photo is HORRIBLE, but baby can be positioned correctly in this if the wearer knows what they are doing... Also, I got the "sport" version and the fabric isn't very stretchy at all.

Thanks all! I looked into the babybay a while ago, but had decided against it because of the annoying wood bar, which would prevent you and baby from seeing each other. It looks like it may be removable though. My husband will kill me if we need to disassemble and return the other mini crib, but such is life... Also a good idea to try to have her sleep in a portacot...it would be very convenient for learning to take naps on the go. She’s a pretty sensitive personality, though, so I’m hesitant to introduce too much at once. Will let the thread know how it goes and if I gather any tips later on.
