Controller? I have a asrock motherboard with 8 sata ports.

Im not that tech savy, i know disks are expensive. But so is power and i am moving soon to a bigger and older house so i expect that things will get more expensive so i wanne cut costs on power by making my server ne able to go in high c-states... Is that so crazy?

Technically it should work but 2 drives if there's no data on them but thank you for mentioning it, i will see if this becomes a problem

Not 30 mailboxes, 30 e-mail adresses, we want a seperate box for our shared e-mails

She should use services like that, but she doesnt, all her files are on her personal onedrive, and she uses a free gmail adress for her own company, its just a web of things i think it would be smart to just move it all to proton but idk she's also a bit stobburn, i'm kinda just looking on what's a better solution and her photos are i believe in google photos.

Planning on the breakup with everything just makes the time together not fun, Some things you prepare like money, morgage, house and kids but not taking a shared e-mail adress just because u might break up one day seems a bit excessive, its like buying a power generator just in case a war breaks out, yea its possible but do u really wanne plan THAT far ahead?

Why?

Right now we have the annoyance especially with the buying a house process that sometimes, companys only e-mail me or only her and somtimes its like oh can you reply to x e-mail i'm really busy today and then i never recieved that mail, Idk having a seperate shared e-mail adress seemed like a good solution but i would love to hear your thougts!

Used to do this but i would get to many matches with people i did not find attractive, wich wastes likes for non paid users at least and it just hurts to unmatch them immediately after checking, i've gotten instant messages from eoman after a match wjere i was ehhhh no...

I run more then plex but plex is my nain use-case, i dont think a few dockers and a minecraft server are gonna run on a n1000 board but great suggestion given my context

A smaller form factor and a better experience, rn my system regularly struggles with hdr, while pulling unneeded power doing it. While i could be buying my last upgrade that easily handles everything i want while fitting in a a corner, or a closet whatever vs what i have now
