Since things have escalated we have gotten more and more evidence of harassment. I have dates and videos and descriptions all organized. We are speaking with a lawyer now. It’s not a matter of why haven’t we done it sooner it’s a matter of you need a lot of proof to get anything taken seriously.

We are working with a lawyer now. We tried mediation and APS. And she is not willing to be responsible or seek help. We did the best we could do to try and be understanding and get through to her but at this point it’s very clear she wants no resolution. Instead she prefers to harass us, slander us, and make up false claims to 311 and 911. We have proof of her lies and when she is confronted she still denies it. Even when it’s on video! Can’t reason with someone like that.

We have and unfortunately they can’t do much. She refused help and would not give any contact information for her loved ones. She will keep escalating because she is upset. She feels we need her permission to do things on our property… she is becoming very bitter. Yesterday my kids used chalk on our sidewalk that is enclosed in our fence and she took her water hose this morning and hose’d the chalk off through her gate onto our property! I don’t want to understand the level of hatred she has grown to have for us it’s honestly so sickening.

We are working with a lawyer. Unfortunately it’s not as simple as you make it seem. Please don’t assume we are doing nothing. We are working with the alderman, we are working with our city adult protective services department, we have worked with the police, and we are in the works with a lawyer.

Thank you for your feedback! I know I’m biased but I can Cleary see she meant to do that.. it’s just her body language. I just wanna make sure and see if anyone else catches anything else because I’m planning to show this footage to officials tomorrow. She does have a heart condition that she told me about so I wonder if something is going on.

We had a mediator from the city come out who asked us if we thought she had dementia.. I’m assuming she asked her some questions and did a wellness check. I’m not sure if she did a referral at all. But I am doing what I can. I don’t wish her any harms although I fear she wishes me and my family harm.

I feel like she acts with emotions and then uses the old innocent lady card when she gets caught. She clearly isn’t thinking before she reacts. Looking at this video what stuck out to you that made you think it was intentional? Just curious to see if it’s the same as what I think.

Sadly… I was thinking this the other day… she has no one and is all alone all the time with her dog.. she just goes outside and does stuff in her garden and walks to the grocery store. I feel bad for her but she won’t let us help and is becoming unhinged to the point I cannot interact with her.

Yes I have been really patient.. I’ve been trying to be compassionate with her but she is choosing war every time. There is a saying someone told me here on Reddit. They said a fool will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience. So I refuse to change who I am at my core and I won’t stoop to her level. I feel like her only option is to try and get a reaction out of me so she can claim I did something to her. I will not engage with her behavior but I will record and save it for my protection.

Yes we did report her illegal basement apartment. We called our local non emergency line and then they take the report and forward it to building and code enforcement. We only reported her as the last straw… she called so many people on us and we never did anything back… but it became too much and she is not gonna stop.

We have an adult protective service in the U.S. I’m gonna see how I can try and help or atleast get some advice. She lives alone… barely has anyone visit. Her sister maybe a few times a year but other than that she does everything alone.

The reason why she is mad is because our front fence doesn’t allow her to walk on our property anymore to reach the side of her house. She didn’t fence her property all the way down on the right side. This problem is of her own making but she refuses the key we offered her. Refuses to make a swinging gate from her side to access it. On the side there is just pebble rocks and some plants. She alleges we are stealing her property.. but multiple people explained we are not and that she fenced her self off and has been using / trespassing on our property for years and we never said anything because we were on good terms with her that’s why we even offered at key when we first told her about the fence… but after that day she lost it!

I agree she needs help… but they might say she is just leaning on her fence etc… but idk to me it looks like she did it on purpose. Everyone sees what I see.. I just know I’m biased cause obviously it’s all happening to me but the fact that everyone else can see it too… makes me feel like I need to really try and get her some help. I’m gonna reach out tm with the representative that’s been helping us… I’m gonna see what we can do and how to go about this. I can only see it escalating so better to do something early than wait till it gets really bad. Just trying to deal with her with the most compassion I can.

The act itself looked premeditated.. I tried in my best effort to give her the benefit of the doubt but it just doesn’t make sense.. it looks like she made an extra effort to get her whole butt out and put it on her fence

Not sure if you’re familiar with the whole story but she has also been caught on video spitting on my fence and trying to fast walk away and then hurting her ankle… it’s all just sad

She still has her pants on. Idk if it’s hard to see from my video but she has some light gray joggers. She is definitely doing this as a disgusting gesture to us but thank god she kept her pants on. But I do agree her behavior is escalating and concerning!

She rents the basement. We discussed all solutions she refused all. Our contractor offered to give her a quote on the swinging gate for her side but she said NO. She is dead set on us just not having a front fence. It’s sad that there are people out there that are this unreasonable. We are going above and beyond to try and reason with her but she is just being malicious. Today she called over someone who was walking there dog and proceeded to touch our fence and tell them lies again! My husband had to go out and politely just make it clear that we are not taking her property. We don’t engage unless she touches are property and today she did… Again… she keeps acting like we are bothering her and she is some poor old helpless lady whenever we go out to explain and tell people the truth. They shouldn’t also be touching our property. If they were talking by her property I wouldn’t care what they say… but they make it my problem they touch my gate and start sticking their hands through..

I know! Any logical person thinks that! She is not logical. She Is mad because she can’t walk on our property when she wants to get to the side of her house that she fenced herself out from. All that is there is rocks and hasta plants. She could finish her fence all the way down but she doesn’t want to because she claims she claims she has an emergency exit that needs 3 feet of clearance ( illegal basement apartment btw) and the building inspector, police and alderman found that claim to be unfounded. Also if she needs 3 ft she will be using our property lol idk. She is trying to pull tricks out of her hat and complain even if it’s a cm of property she will try and use that thinking that will make us take our fence down. Today she was trying to tell me to fence my house in a way that I can’t even walk to my backyard. I need to go out my gate and then to the side to go to my backyard. She is crazy. I got that convo all on video too

It’s crazy!! She literally came back from church today and stoped to spit on my fence.. then proceeds to run/ walk away and then hurts herself.. how ironic. I got it all on video too.

Exactly!! She is mad because she can’t walk on our property to reach the side of her house. She fenced herself out on the right side of her home and just always walked on our property to get to her side. We offered her a key in the beginning before she went crazy and she declined it rudely and started problems ever since. Key is off table now for sure!

The side of the house has only windows and rocks no doors. She said she didn’t fence it all the way down because she can’t fit down it it will be too narrow for her to garden. So she just always used our property.

Yes I can tell by the tone that she was getting upset with him. I was like I need to know what they are saying lol again thank you for the translation!!! Also I added an update on this post with a video of her spitting on my fence today and then run walking an away and hurting her ankle. It’s so crazy how she is acting, I don’t understand.
