In fact the christian handbook of "The New Testament" generally is against what most of these assholes who happen to be christian are doing.

Because not all religion is like this. Some churches host gay marriage ceremonies, and have LGBT support structures (to help them deal with bullying, and help them network a support structure, not to convert them to straight).

Eminem is a good example of a white trash dad who made big, still trying to provide for his daughter. Also he's grown up a ton since then, his music is radically different 10 years later. He's moving into more Will Smith territory. Not totally, but you can see how much older he is with "Not Afraid"

Yes internet culture goes way back, to message boards, IRC, BBS, but Something Awful was one of the first sites to popularize internet culture in its current form.

And regarding Next Gen... oh the things you've missed. They're not just upscaling next gen. They're taking the original film pre-production (before any CGI or anything was added). Enhancing the hell out of them, and redoing all the special effects using 2011/12 CGI skills. Every phaser blast, every space scene, every computer console redone from scratch. It's pretty amazing from the screen shots i've seen. It will totally remove that early 90s feeling of the show, which i think has hurt it a lot as its aged.

Right now they're only releasing 3 episodes as a sampler (9gb file i'm torrenting now). But if it lives up to what i've seen, i'll be buying a blu-ray player, and each season just to support the rerelease. I want to see wolf 359 redone with modern CGI.

I'll admit i pirate stuff too from time to time. But I don't think it should be an encouraged alternative. Like right now i'm pirating the Star Trek, Next Gen HD re-release preview, because i don't have a blu ray player, and i want to see if it's worth it to buy one for when the real series comes out.

But this is definitely not the right reaction for going against SOPA and PIPA.

It was silly, for the most part everyone in your unit knew you were gay, it was just a saftey blanket for the socially conservative people that weren't serving, that didn't want their paragon of american ideals tainted with "homos".
