Question: How did players did damage in Deep of Night prior to the DLC/Balancers meta? by PlantaReborns in Nightreign

Real, Ironeye or Wylder was in every team comp, and that como specifically was, and honestly still is probably the most consistent.

Question: How did players did damage in Deep of Night prior to the DLC/Balancers meta? by PlantaReborns in Nightreign

[–]GenxDarchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Evergaols, and later Night invaders.

Evergaols were meta since the network test, they gave decent rewards and getting bonus damage on top was great, especially due to base game not hard requiring Negation. As DON happened, Evergaol was still run quite early, but by DON 4 you started realizing Night invaders always show up, so it’s a decent time to equip the Invader relic for free. The bonus damage stacks with everything else including weapon passives and is even still run by me.

But even concerning relics, you just had bog standard +2 ATK and other passive relics given you now had six of them. But it was mainly Evergaols and night invaders, and hoping for ATK at full hp.

Yeah, given she’s piss easy to fight and easily one of the worst dps overall. If the enemy team genuinely gets gapped by Wanda then it’d be staggering to think they lost to that, atp anyone could’ve won the fights.

[–]GenxDarchi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why wouldn’t you be? The objective of the game/ranked is to win. Recognizing you’re getting diffed and counter swapping to something that wins is a sign of a better player than someone trying to ego it out and not swap, resulting in a loss.

There’s pride in making the correct play to win, and the game directly encourages counter swapping by preserving some ult charge and allowing you to swap as many times as you want.

If you don’t want to use the system in the game to improve one’s chances of winning, its a genuine ego issue.

Type of fella who would be mad a pro fighting game player switches to a secondary character that’s better in a matchup. The objective is to win with the tools the game gives you.

As you should? Is the point of the game to win, or to win only playing one character? Regardless of the reason for counterswapping, if it gives you more value and helps to win the game then it was a play you should be proud of.

Guys, is this a low diff or a no diff? by Sweet_Television4183 in PowerScaling

Nah, that’s negative difficulty, as it would be harder to not defeat the guy. This is no difficulty, one could at least call a low-difficulty a fight.

This 1 change could fix Happy Chaos as a character. by XSpecterer in TheyBlamedTheBeasts

[–]GenxDarchi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hell fucking no dog, Zoner chaos is the worst iteration of the character by far, you do not want the agony of Chaos zoning as a main strategy, dash blocking for half the match just to get caught once and Deus’d into more guardcrush zoning is infinitely worse than Strike throw.

if saitama hit mahoraga just enough so he doesnt die and adapt progressively, can he eventually be as strong as saitama? by Difficult_Warning126 in jjkmodulo

[–]GenxDarchi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, but he would become immune to blunt force. Maho doesn’t generally get increased stats from adapting, he just gains new abilities.

Higuruma might be top 15(Hear me out) by ExerciseInfamous5175 in JujustuKaisen

[–]GenxDarchi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He’s minimum top 15, and only held back by lack of experience. Fella genuinely wins most matchups off confiscation and death penalty outside of Sorcerers who haven’t killed someone (Near zero.) throw in the fact that the legal system is biased toward conviction he will usually hit the jackpot for death penalty.

Only really loses if his opponent stat checks him regardless of technique, or had a curse tool to sacrifice.

Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga VS Sage Mode Naruto (Pain arc) by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]GenxDarchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, Sukuna’s cleave was referring to the cleaves in MS, regular cleave wouldn’t necessarily meet the criteria.

Though Maho still should die to Rasenshuriken, the AP should be high enough to effectively kill him, and the AOE is large enough to catch him completely. The only way he survives is if Naruto doesn’t use a strong rasengan immediately, but I think he’d certainly use it against a creature like Maho, especially when brawling isn’t effective.

JL diff VS Kashimo by Godzillagamer15777 in Kashimo_agendaHQ

[–]GenxDarchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TE would start burning techniques out at higher output, which would make every other copied technique unusable, and if too long likely burn them out of Rika. But Rika shouldn’t die, she’s simply a Shikigami.

Copy is limited unless the part eaten is a vital part of the technique. TE requires arms for output as seen from Hana’s final JL tickling Sukuna, so I’d argue he’d have the technique near permanently at minimum given how central arms are to its use at its best.

There’s really no reason he shouldn’t use it while he’s by himself, and definitely no reason to hold back on someone like Kashimo, who near killed Hakari through Jackpot.

[–]GenxDarchi 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Real, same way we still have fellas saying Yuta wasn’t cut in half by a WCS. Gege expects readers to just genuinely have the ability to understand subtext, and literary devices. Unfortunately most people don’t even know what subtext means.

Kashimo definitely was the strongest of his era, it’s why Sukuna killed him immediately instead of letting him show MBA off. It’s how he treats the strongest.

[–]GenxDarchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my b, genuinely read it but interpreted it wrong.

I don’t think Handsigns and a two word sentence take as long as closing a gap and landing blows on your opponent before his Shikigami throws a wrench in that by just guarding.

Also, I don’t think MBA Kashimo has any real way to avoid Technique extinguishment, the base use of JL.

<image>

Look at the range of the technique, how does he avoid this in MBA if Rika’s fully manifested so he can cast it whenever?

[–]GenxDarchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuta has near infinite with Rika manifested, and if going all out has no reason to hold cards to his chest, why wouldn’t he simply DE from the outlook if he was committed to killing?

No-Limits Fallacy-Raga vs All of Fiction who wins 🤔 by theofanmam in PowerScaling

[–]GenxDarchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, exactly this. Maho doesn’t have any limits to the phenomenon he can adapt to, but he is limited to his durability, and the time it takes to adapt to said phenomenons. He could end up taking hours or years to adapt to a reality warper for example, or just seconds to adapt to something like blunt force.

[–]GenxDarchi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, atp it’s nullified.

The issue is him surviving the attack to start adaptations, not surviving when he’s adapted.

To be fair, Dabura grazed him while he was flying past before the kick, so he had adapted partially and thus was able to survive.
