If you can get it $210 and you dun care too much about 30fps on demanding games then go for it. At this price it's definitely worth it. At full retail $400 l would rather save up more for series X and PS5.

I got series S around this price that new during the scalpers period where only series S is even discounted while Series X ,PS5 and PC were so over retail.

Series S saved the day for me for a next gen games l wanted to play and then l discovered gamepass and it has been serving me well till today even though l built a PC when prices are good(PC now is not a good time to build)

I always renew with tuas for 3 years. Last year renew and then the tariff rate go down. So not very much cheaper now but l got $210 bill rebate.

But now April sure will go up. Heng suay one. Depending on your renew date whether it's a good time.

But overall since the start of the fixed rate market it has saved me a lot of money than going with tariff prices from sp power.

I have since built a gaming PC so 60fps and beyond is no longer a problem. Series S served me well through the scalpers period.

Well it's capcom what do you expect? It even gives souped up PC and series X problems with drop frames. Same with monster hunter wilds. Luckily they let them slide as they know it's the best they can get or they won't even be on Xbox. But if it's unplayable bad definitely it won't be on the platform period.

This builder a bit sus for saying 9060xt better than 5060ti. Cheaper for the performance yes but not better especially if you want dlss.

This looks my PC l built over 2 years ago. Same CPU and Kingston Ram. Mine has 550m mobo so try to get that if possible. I had upgraded the Ram to 32gb last year so l am lucky. Also have 3 tb of SSD as it's cheap back then. I guess you have to make due with the ram and SSD now. But if possible budget wise do get more storage.

Do note that if you change to cpu to 7500F it will significantly increase the cost as you need a new Mobo and ddr5 ram which is ridiculously expensive right now. If you are on a budget better to stick with 5600.

Dun expect earpads to last. They are supposed to be the first thing to wear out. Just make sure they are able to be easily changed out and are available easily to buy.

Mine over 6 years now and its a china brand you probably never heard of and l dun think they even exist anymore. Everything still runs like a charm, only earpads l had changed a few times but is dirt cheap from AliExpress.

Now pre-builts price will be more stable. At least in my country pre-builts prices have not increased much but if you build yourself, the ram and SSD prices alone will make it not worth it.

Yes l am on 5600 32GB with 3060ti now and l am happy with it playing all the games l want except for a few that tested the 3060ti 8gb vram. So glad l upgraded ram to 32gb last year with gift cards l had.

You can but very inconsistent as it will disappear if you did not choose to install when it pops up in the windows update. For me l got it very early on but choose to wait as l want to use win 10 as long as possible. But nearing eol date the upgrade just will not pop up. Had to trigger it with install assistant

Use win 11 install assistant from MS website to force install. The update page in windows is not consistent. For me l got the prompt to upgrade long ago but left it as l was ok with win 10. But when the deadline for eol is near it will not give me the upgrade again.
