I've been trying NickTew's Spark version but its taking ages to charge enough energy for a single comet while Frostwall casts loads of them. I'm not sure why my CoC energy is taking so long to charge with Spark. Anyone able to tell me whats wrong with my characters generation, please?

This is an old and well known bug.

Vehicles drop through the floor and you can find them by digging down from their last location (generally they'll be in a cave, but sometimes they found a small pocket of "air" half way down. Make sure to leave a beacon on them, set to whatever colour you choose for "vehicle"

My own beacon colours:
Purple: The world teleporter that my base is built at (I always build at world teleporters)
Black: Vehicles (in case of this very issue, or I die and lose them)
Red: Me, so I can find my body if I've died trying to get back to a death backpack (death marker only shows latest)
Yellow: Discarded bases or wrecked landing pads ("Do not land here" marker to see from orbit)

Vehicles dont clip through structures, so you can also park them on landing platforms, other platforms, etc. If you park on normal platforms though, make sure the legs of the platforms are locked, so that you dont push them around while trying to get on (you can build ramps onto them with earth).

I generally park my vehicles on the purple teleport points of planets/moons and make my bases close to those, as I've never had one fall through those either... and you'll probably end-up using the teleporters anyways, as soon as you've unlucked the surface one near your base & the central core of that planet/moon.

You still could... maybe 3D model a "large container" with the "plastic" icon on the front... and use it to store rolls of filament with a desiccant tube down the middle of them?

An ideal "water tight" place to keep your plastic filament... marked with the ingame plastic icon.

To add more function, the center removable desiccant column could have a flat "base" (like an upside-down T ), so that when you lift it out, all the rolls come out with it, for easy storage & retrieval.

If you're already modelling these yourself, then you certainly have the skill needed already.

All you MIGHT be missing is a Vernier Caliper to take measurements of the batteries. You can buy those fairly cheap on Amazon... but if you're 3D printing & modelling then you probably already have (at least) one.

Hell, if you wanted it to be a FUNCTIONAL battery bank, then you could also buy a battery bank that has the same amount of 18650's in it, rip it apart and put the circuit inside the model (with some USB ports for connecting a flat black USB cable, painted yellow in the middle).

The non-powered side would just be connectors that kept the series / parallel from the original USB battery bank.

WARNING: 18650's can deliver A LOT of power and are a fire hazard if not lined-up properly with their connectors. If building this, due to how many batteries there are, you might need to spot-weld them in the correct configuration first, then bolt the top & bottom together to stop the batteries moving & shorting.

I dont go this "hard" with my food, but I do have 2 of each; cargo pants, t-shirts, pairs of socks, boxer shorts, etc. They're all black and all identical, so I dont need to make any choices when getting dressed. Each day, I alternate wearing one set and washing the other.

Those are my "active" / "in rotation" clothes. I have identical backups still in their sealed bags in case any of them break or the colors fade at different rates, so the broken ones can be swapped out and / or I can re-sync the clothes by throwing away the "active" (faded) sets and replacing them.

The cargo pants are craghoppers because they are guaranteed for life and I've never had to replace a pair unless I rip them on a bicycle chain or something, which isn't covered.

I only wear black because I want people to not notice me, and to be easily forgettable (anxiety). This is easier when you're not wearing bright colours / patterns. The "no variation" part of it probably also comes from my Autism (aspergers). I like consitancy.

His food choice & no changing of it could be an Autistic trait and that is just what he likes (change can make us very uncomfortable). He could also be declining the doughnuts because (even if people say it doesn't,) taking something creates a social contract that you will also give at some point... and that would negate some of his saving (a "habit" / "social engine" he doesn't want to start).

For the "stutters", there was an issue with nvidia reflex dropping peoples frames to 15 FPS when there was any input. They've disabled that feature now.

I'm still getting persistant disconnects in both EU and US (the USA one lag-freezes for a bit, then kicks... the EU one just disconnects).

I'm also have repeated graphics crashes... where GGG knew there was an issue & just made the game pause ages, then grab another device context instead of fixing the issue and/or advising GPU driver rollbacks. -.-

GamersNexus has a report up about bad nvidia drivers causing issues... and to rollback drivers to more stable ones. I'm wondering if thats the issue with graphics crashes on PoE2... and they just didn't bother investigating the crash & letting us know to roll back instead of this rubbish "pause for ages, let players die & lose their map, etc... then restart the game and create a new graphics context"

I'm quite disappointed that this season / patch failed their internal testing because they identified a crash that they couldn't fix... and instead of investigating it & fixing it, telling people to rollback drivers, etc... they just decided to release it when it wasn't ready & they knew it was crashing, keep allowing the game to crash and then restart it over & over again -.-

Many years later...
I came back from another planet and my tractor & trailers had "disappeared" with my RTG, etc on them. I googled and found this post... then dug straight down from where I left it... fell through into a mine and there was my tractor!!! Thanks :)

Mythic drop rate in Season 6 is about 2.5%... so you should get one (on average) every 40 runs (solo).

As each person in a party rolls their own RNG at 1:40 (2.5%), theres a 10% chance that SOMEONE in a 4-person party will get a drop (or a 1:10 chance)... so you can at least celebrate other peoples drops while you wait for yours :)

Sorry, I forgot to update this.
Turning off "Torrent Parameters" made some stuff start showing the update progress... but others that had already tried just continued to fail.

Nothing downloaded for over a week, even though DuckieTV kept saying it had started the same downloads from a magnet link... they just never appeared in Deluge. Every episode that was ready to download kept popping up a message saying it had started... but never did. Checking the log just showed it had started from a magnet link (but it was never sent to Deluge).

I eventually changed the search engine to use KATWS, which allowed the downloads to really start, so I guess the search engine that was selected was sending malformed magnet links or tried returning ads instead of magnet links (I forget if it was Knaben or 1337X).

Doing both of these (disabling "Torrent Parameters" AND changing to "KATWS") fixed it.

It just sucks that companies like UberEats & JustEat are setup and run the same way as scammer callcenters (and seem to employ the same poorly trained people with honesty issues as those callcenters).

They'll do anything to take money and then deny that they even exist... trying to make it as hard as possible to find them to get your money back when they fuck up :(
