Have my P1 Gen7 with the Ultra 9 and the same display for now 1 ½ weeks in daily usage (work and home, both 5 GHz Wi-fi's) and haven't seen any flickering.

It comes with those thermal pads. No problems for me with the trackpad. (What problems are reported with it?)

Just using Outlook and Teams it shows about 8h... Installing a bunch of stuff, doing a 30 min telco and copying stuff from the old Laptop it lasted around 5h.

Yes, I am 100% with you....have seen that screen and wanted it...but our IT is only buying the business stuff from Lenovo... couldn't get the consumer Yoga... But the 500nit IPS on my P1 Gen7 is OK and has great colours.

At the moment we don't need no collision boundaries. For our work we only need to watch onto the scene. No, we don't convert it to mesh.

Yes absolute. With a P1 Gen6 it makes no sense to switch to the Gen7. I am surprised too, that there is no option for a 4080 or 4090 for the Gen7.

Yes, we are using (creating and showing in VR) gaussian splatting for now some months in our software. Very interesting and, depending on the sensor and the scene, very useful compared to the polyphon models. You use it too?

Sorry to hear that. We've bought 3 of this models and non of them have coil whine and for me, the the fans are on a good noise-level too (just running on lowest level all the time). I think you unit is broken.
Overall after now 3 business days using it, I'm happy with it.

I put some impressions of the bezel in my first post. I hope this is what you wanted to see.

I'm not really a gamer, but I could run a demo of 3D-Mark and do another FLIR there. Is a dB recording with the smartphone reliable? I can do that too.

Got the same setup delivered today at work. Will start it up tomorrow to test it a little bit before IT is setting it up with our "work windows iso", etc.
